Don’t be afraid to challenge false teachers! Yeshua did….

There are LOTS of false teachings and pseudo-teachers on the Internet. While Believers are not to engage in endless silly arguments with those types, is imperative to remember that we ARE to expose false teachers and try to bring people back to YHWH: Romans 16:17-18, Ephesians 5:11, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, and many others - and most importantly: Ezekiel 33:7-9.

That is why we must not slumber! We MUST be aware of the garbage being passed around – and we do that by checking out the posts and videos of the known violators, so that we can KNOW first-hand, what they espouse.

Why? Well, so that we can properly counter their false assertions in the hopes of leading both the teacher and their followers back onto YHWH's Path!

You never when when “something will click” and either bring or return someone to the Truth. Perhaps YOU can be the one to do that!

Let's also remember that Yeshua exposed false teachers. Aren't we to walk as Yeshua walked, and follow in his footsteps? (1 John 2:3-7)

  1. I try to open a dialogue with the false teachers I have spoken to. Some have been so thoroughly indoctrinated that they actually believe they're teaching truth...no matter what scriptures are presented revealing otherwise. There is no Messianic Synagogue where I live, so I visit sabbat-keeping churchs.

    1. Oh yes, that is definitely a problem! OPINIONS are everywhere and most try to pass their opinions off as truth.

They fall all over themselves to tell people how they "discovered they were lied to all their life" by "doing their research" ... but it's obvious (by what they now believe) that they LOST their "research skills" somewhere along the way, because they CONTINUE to absorb false teachings by doing exactly what they always did: Instead of seeking God's TRUTH and asking the Ruach for guidance while READING their way through the Bible, in sequence from Genesis to Revelation, over and over again, they will instead, cruise the 'net for "teachings" and pause at whichever teaching/teacher (self-proclaimed or otherwise) appeals to them....

But just try to show them why and how they've absorbed GARBAGE, and you have a fight on your hands.

  2. Do you have somewhere on your site (that maybe I missed?) a listing of false teachers? Wondering about Michael Rood and the fellow behind Lion& Lamb ministries from things I heard years ago but for whatever reason I've forgotten. Basically I trusted certain teachers like yourself to know who the faulty teachers were then I didn't give it another thought. But now I'm trying to counsel others coming into this pro-Torah walk and am looking for a listing of wolves in sheep's clothing, if you will. Most pther good teachers don't have things 100% correct but they're certainly not dangerous as those with the cult-followings. Like the Torah to the Tribes guy who teaches Israel was replaced and the whole Kazar garbage. Thanks in advance!

    1. Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately, the "list of false teachers" got to be so long and tedious that it was no longer worth my while ... OR the endless nasty posts to my site from people who were following those false teachers. There are some articles on this page that tell you how to recognize them (https://therefinersfire.org/challenging_false_prophets.htm ) but I personally refuse to waste my time on them anymore. They're simply too numerous, and I've discovered that people end up believing whatever they want to believe. It's not my problem. All I can do is lead them to the TRUTH - but I can't make them LEARN it.

    2. Okay that's totally understandable. And yes, it does seem too many people are predisposed to believe whatever fits their presuppositions unfortunately. Thank you for taking the time to reply! Yah bless you!
