Ever heard that women have one more rib than men because "God took out one of Adam's ribs to make Eve?" (Genesis 2:21-23) Well, it's a myth. Unfortunately, many Christians and Hebrew Roots types seem to believe it, while atheists are having a field day using biological facts to prove it's a myth and show the world that the Bible is a farce.
I'm wondering why it's never occurred people that just because YHWH removed one of Adam's ribs, it doesn't mean He changed his original creation. I mean, it was simply "surgery". if He had removed one of Adam's toes or fingers, or even an arm to form Eve, would that have meant that men were all missing a toe, finger or arm from that time on?
NO! Man's DNA makeup didn't change! Removal of Adam's rib didn't change God's original anatomy plans! The human rib cage is now and always has been comprised of 12 paired rib bones; each are symmetrically paired on a right and left side.
