Why is the world "meh" to ISIS?

I don't know about you, but I am wondering what is going on in the world!  Here we have an organization the world calls "ISIS" - a brutal, barbaric organization of Muslims taking action to "convert" the world to strict "Sharia Law" (where the men get to rule with sub-human brutality), yet the world seems to be turning a blind eye.

ISIS is a threat to ALL RELIGIONS, yet not one seems to be taking action to combat and defeat this scourge on society!  And this holds true especially of those of Islam!  Really!  How many times have you heard "Islam is a religion of peace"?  You've heard it from Islamic leaders, and world political leaders alike - including US Presidents!  Yet if it's true, you'd think that all the billions of "peace" loving Muslims out there would be joining forces to destroy "ISIS" - who claim to be "Islam", yet are out there destroying the world!

Well, the proof is in the pudding as they say.  Here we have Islam's true colors surfacing, and the reason you don't see "peaceful Islam" going against ISIS is because there is no such thing as "peaceful Islam"!  And the reason you don't see the rest of the world taking up arms against ISIS is they are oblivious to what's going on!  Since the Christian world pays no attention to the "Old Testament" in favor of their Torah-less, Adonis "Jesus", and the false doctrine of "grace", and are out there actively seeking to embrace gays and their $$$, they don't see the danger, and the other major religions, Hinduism and Buddhism for example, are too much in their "new age" mantras and attaining "enlightenment" to recognize the danger to them!

Well "wondering what's going on in the world" is really only a cliché, for I really already know what's going on! My head is not in the sand!  If you are not "ready" by your spirit to go through these end-times, perhaps it's time you paid attention!  Here's a good book for you to curl up next to a fire and digest:  http://www.amazon.com/War-Heaven-Surviving-End-Times/dp/1623740045

  1. Amein, Liam! Islam is NOT our friend! They have proven "whom they serve" - over and over again. They are a bunch of barbaric, murdering thugs who aren't even doing this in the name of "religion"...they're doing it because they are demon possessed and they LIKE killing and controlling people. Sure would hate to be them on Judgment Day!

    1. Perhaps you are referring to Matthew 5:43-44? (There is no such verse as 4:55).

5:43-44 says: "You have heard that it has been said to love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you to love your enemies and bless those that curse you and do that which is pleasing to those who hate you. And pray for those that take you by force and persecute you."

This is very often mistaken for a blanket "Love your enemy...", but this not what is implied.

First, realize that when Yeshua says "You have heard..." He is referring to oral law - that interpretation of Torah which was often added (and wrongly) to Torah by the rabbis. By saying what He said in verse 43, he is referring to Leviticus 19:18 which most definitely DOES NOT say "hate your enemy"! (Leviticus 19:18 "Don't take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself")

Torah instructs us not to hate or take vengeance on or bear a grudge against those who are of our common Faith, with whom we may have conflict with. Yeshua is saying that for those who are outside the Faith, today that would be ISIS, etc., we must continue to maintain our holiness in faith when confronted by these people, and show them that their hate and their persecution has nothing on us. By "love" He does not mean we need to sit down with an ISIS member and have tea and crumpets with them! He meant that we must not hate them, for they are lost, and instead, we should pray that they will somehow come to their senses and find the one True God - YHWH.

Yeshua goes on! He says that despite of who we are, the faithful in YHWH, we can still be caught up in the evil perpetrated by such people! Verse 45: "He that raises His sun upon the good and upon the evil and causes to descend His rain upon the just and the unjust."

Ponder that a minute! You are "saved" because you accept that Yeshua died for you - and you live a life in all aspects trying to be holy by YHWH's prscribed rules for living. But still, you can be affected by evil! So it is not your responsibility to "hate" those inflicting evil. It is your responsibility to remain faithful and holy so you will still receive the gift which Yeshua brought to you. As hard as it would be to be humiliated by these animals known as ISIS, and to be brutally slaughtered by them, it would be far better to be completely faithful to YHWH, and die (if necessary) without fear, than it would be to exude hate and fear to them as they commit their crimes. Your life is spared (eternal life), theirs is lost.

      Does that help?

  3. Yes! A good interpretation of Mat 5:43-44 and Lev19:18. We are not meant to judge or retaliate against these violent men [though in my ex-soldier mind,I have thought about it]. Loyalty to YHWH and abiding by his Son's teachings is far more important,

  4. Thank you Mr. Rowland, but we are not taught to roll over and let these barbarians kill us! I was trying to explain that we don't have to "love" these animals. We are responsible for our own loyalty to YHWH, and our own readiness to be killed by one of these maggots, but that does not mean we sit back and let them "take over" and kill is all! We who believe in the God of Israel, Isaac, and Jacob have every right and responsibility to mass forces against the barbarians that are ISIS and Al Qaeda. My only point was that if you have the misfortune to be executed by these thugs, you are saved. They can't take that away from you. But I certainly did not mean to imply that we sit back and let it happen.

  5. Liam is John 5: 43 a prophecy from Y'shua that Mohammad will come in his own name (not being derived from the structure of YHWH as Y'shua is) and people will believe him and not Y'shua? And, that because they have used the Torah in the Quran He won't judge them but, Moshe will?

  6. Hi Aaron, it's an interesting observation, but no, I don't think John 5:43 is a prophecy of Mohammad. Here's why: First, there is the context of John 5, and second there is John 5:43 itself, its peshat (literal) meaning.

Regarding the peshat understanding of John 5:43, we see that the verse has two components, the first phrase "I [Y'shua] have come in my Father's name, and you don't accept me;" followed by the 2nd phrase "if someone else comes in his own name, him you will accept." There is no future tense to the 2nd phrase, that is, Y'shua is saying to the Y'hudeans that if someone came in their own name at the time Y'shua was proclaiming, they would believe that person. Why? Y'shua had just explained it in verses 37-42! (I don't have the space to reproduce them here).

You see, in Y'shua's day, a "name" carried some authority. Simplifying, if a person was speaking truth (or lies) in those days it was believed (or not) based on the character and reputation of the person. If, say, "George" was proclaiming the Holy Spirit, but George was known in the community as a drunkard, the "name" of George would not carry much authority. If George said he could cast out demons, no one would believe him. This was Y'shua's point. He, Y'shua had come in His Fathers name, yet the Y'hudeans were rejecting Him because of their weak hearts and values. They were relying on the known "character and reputation" of individuals they had heard about and could "trust" their authority, but they knew nothing of this "Y'shua", so they refused to see how He was demonstrating His authority! This is why Y'shua said "if someone else comes in his own name, him you will accept." So He was not talking about a future time when "Mohammad" would come in his own name.

Now regarding the context of John 5, go back beginning at least to verse 13. In verse 13, the man who had been healed did not know who Y'shua was. This was the point of the whole chapter! The man simply knew that Y'shua healed him. Rather than witnessing and accepting the works of Y'shua which demonstrated His authority, the Y'hdeans were upset that Y'shua was (in their opinion) breaking the Sabbath! (See verse 16). In the rest of the chapter, Y'shua concludes that it is their blindness, the fact that the Word does not dwell in them that caused them to not see who He was! (Verses 19-40).

Then Y'shua decries the Y'hudeans lack of understanding of Torah, of Moshe - the authority who presented Torah to them! When Y'shua says in verse 45 "Do you know who will accuse you? Moshe, the very one you have counted on!", He is not saying that Moshe will judge, rather, He is saying that TORAH judges! He goes on to say that Moshe had written about Him, yet the people did not see it. So Y'shua was revealing to them that His authority was right there in Torah, yet they were too blind to see it.

Now I must add that I am quite aware that there are those who see John 5:43 as a prophecy, but as a prophecy of the anti-christ. In support they cite 2 Thessolonians 2:4 and 2 Corinthians 11:14. But honestly, I don't think this was Y'shua's intent. He was pointing out to us, even today, that we often use false values in our judgments. We elevate to "authority" those who have an undeserved "clout", yet when the "real deal" is in our presence, we are blind to the obvious reality.
