A quick word about Mother Theresa and Princess Di

Over the course of my life I’ve had several premonitions, all of which came true. Back in the summer of 1997 while I was making my bed and getting ready to go to work, quite out of the blue, the faces of Princess Diana and Mother Theresa came to mind, along with this strange thought that froze me in my tracks: “The death of Princess Diana will overshadow the death of Mother Theresa. Diana will be mourned and revered for months and years on end, while Mother Theresa and all her accomplishments will be but an afterthought.”

A few days later, Princess Diana died in a horrific auto accident in Paris; and a week later, Mother Theresa died in Calcutta. And sure enough, Mother’s Theresa’s death -  was then, and still is, but a footnote in the wake of Princess Diana’s fame -  and that holds true still today, 20 years later! How sad.

All scriptures from ESV:

John 12:43 For they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.
1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

  1. If you are speaking about the 'Roman Catholic nun 'mother Teresa', I am confused about the interpretation of the dream. Since our Father teaches us to be humble and not seek glory, John 12:43 is the truth. Perhaps man would have drawn all this attention to this nun, and no glory to Yahweh.

And to note, Catholicism practices idol worship; saint worship; and priest worship. I grew up in this, and I thank my Father I was freed from this religious witchcraft practice. I visited a small Mexico town about three years ago, and they hung a Hugh banner with a painted-type picture of a priest from their town- that they canonized as a -saint, from one end of the chruch building to the other. I think they exaggered the look of the eyes, because they looked sad and hypnotized. I stay out for sure.

I'm out of the 'churches' that teach me it's only about 'love'. The more I read the Word, I find that Yahweh is not tolerant about idol worshipers. I'm not judging 'mother Teresa', and I don't know much about her, but unless I'm mistaken- she is a representative of the 'Roman Cathoic Chruch. And yes I was hurt, they know the Word, and didn't teach us all the truth.

  2. Thanks for your comment, Anonymous. First, it wasn’t a “dream”. It was a simple vision/thought that came to me out of nowhere. Secondly, I never suggested anyone should get any glory out of this – including either Mother Theresa or Princess Diana. It “hit me, quite out of the blue” that both of these ladies would die and Diana would become basically deified by the world – something I’m sure she, herself, would NEVER want. It was merely a vision that revealed how sick “the world” is … The “world” ALWAYS goes against YHWH and His Word.

I totally agree with you about Catholicism and I’m glad you became freed from it. But that aside, Mother Theresa WAS a great and humble woman, serving only God! (Please Google her so you can finally find out who she was and what she did before maligning her any further, just because she was Catholic!) How many people in this world can say they did what Mother Theresa did? Can YOU? Have YOU left behind all creature comforts to spend 24/7 doing nothing but caring for the sick, taking care of orphans and tending to the poor? Have YOU forsaken EVERYTHING to serve God in some way?

You admitted (1) you know nothing about Mother Theresa, yet you felt compelled to denounce her just because she was Catholic; which means (2) you ARE DEFINITELY sitting in judgment of her! How does that make you any better than any other “religious” person? It sounds like you went from one “religion” to another … where the ONLY thing you changed about yourself was what you refer to yourself as now - and you’ve apparently left “love” behind altogether.

“Religious” people are very quick to sit on their high and lofty perches to “look down” upon others, which is something YHWH totally detests. (See verses such as Proverbs 16:5, 6:16-19 and Mark 7:20-23.)

Please think about that the next time you feel like tearing someone apart just because they're not of your preferred religious belief.

  3. Forgive me that I came across harsh. Your right, I'm not the Judge, my focus was not centered on 'Teresa', but it triggered the word 'Catholicism' to me, and what attention it might have achieved. I was thinking about the 7 churches. The vision/interpretation was given to you, I had no right to comment.

Through my childhood experiences, I recall Martyr teaching in a negative way, because our parents 'worked, worked, worked' , thinking this is the way to G_d's heart. In our case, jobs became our idols too. That's why our generation of familys struggled so hard in seeing blessings, with low self-esteem, never measuring up.

I too, know that I can never walk in Teresa's shoes, to give up everything, to care for everyone. Yes we do, need people like this.

I am grateful for the truth, that Yahweh loves me not because of my 'works', but simply because I'm His child, a work in progress. And because of a changed heart, I do 'works' from a better heart. I once thought that I'm an okay person- loving, kind, and compassionate. But then I learned His ways, and I'm just 'dust', a clay-pot. What I meant about 'love- type chruches' is that the teaching leaves out Torah, so our progress as christains, is mostly measured by how we love each other. No harm done, but I know now there is so much more to it.
Now I learned, that obedience is love. I'm better at surrendering this vessel- It's His real love, kindness, and compassion that he has for simple me, and that pours out of me to others.

Thanks for the website tip, I did watch the 'Hebrew word teachings'. To love someone to the point you love them as you love yourselve (something like that).

  4. Thanks for your response! I truly do appreciate where you're coming from. Since you were raised Catholic, you probably tend to hyperventilate at the mere thought of Catholicism and all its faults.

The thing I've learned over the years is that there are many "good" people in every religion and denomination. (I once worked in an organization that hired Muslims from the Middle East, and they are all really "good" people - not the stereotype radicals we hear about on the news.) It just depends on the person.

I wish the whole world could see the beauty of being a believer in YHWH/Yeshua/Torah, though, because it isn't a "religion" - it's THE set-apart way of life outlined in the Bible.
