No, what stunned me was seeing people shouting: "Love Won!" Really? Love won? Love? Love was on trial?
During the snowball of the last couple of decades the gay mantra was centered on "equal rights", and then eventually homosexuals hid behind "supporting family values". (Family values? Now that is a picture! Anyone can say they "support family values" as long as they get to define those values!) So now they succeeded in forcing gay marriage on the whole country, and they say "love won"? Well, I disagree. "Love" did not "win". "Love" was not on trial. Yahweh was on trial. Yahweh sets the values!
"Sh'ma, Yisra'el! ADONAI Eloheinu, ADONAI echad [Hear, Isra'el! ADONAI our God, ADONAI is one]; and you are to love ADONAI your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources. These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them on your hand as a sign, put them at the front of a headband around your forehead, and write them on the door-frames of your house and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, CJB)I don't see love of Yahweh (Adonai) in forcing YOUR morality, your "values", your "love" of the same sex as "love wins". If "love won", we'd all be on our knees honoring Him instead of in the streets participating in "gay pride" parades celebrating the godless US Supreme Court decision.
Some gays who have convinced themselves they are accepted by God will say: "Oh, that's just Old Testament nonsense. It doesn't apply today." Well, they would be wrong, because God's Word is just as applicable today as it's always been. God doesn't conform to the world; that much was clear the day He put Adam and Eve out of the Garden! He hasn't changed His mind about His Divine Rules for moral, holy living ...whether "the world" believes it, or not!
“You should love Master YHWH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might and with all your mind.” This is the first and the greatest Commandment." (Matthew 22:38, AENT)These are the words of Yeshua (commonly called "Jesus") in the NEW TESTAMENT! When asked which is the GREATEST commandment, he made this reply! Can you guess who He quoted?
No. Love did not win. Litigants won. And that is not love.
