Welcome to The Refiner's Fire Blog

Welcome to our new blog!  We are Netzarim believers wishing to reveal Biblical Truth in a world of religion, religiosity and opinion. We confirm YHWH (Yah-weh) as our ELOHIM and Yeshua as His Divine Messiah - and we believe that "Grace and Mercy" do NOT invalidate His Torah (Instructions in Righteousness). It's not about man-made theology or "religion" ... it's all about THE Creator of the universe and what He expects of His people....

We don't claim to "know everything", but we do advocate that the ONLY way to know God and His desire for mankind is to first have read His Word from cover to cover!  If you've never read the Bible from cover to cover, you cannot logically discuss it or even express a proper opinion about it! We don't read novels by perusing random paragraphs or chapters, so what makes us think we can know the God we serve by "cherry picking" random passages from the Bible?

In this Chat Room we wish to discuss topics which don't necessarily demand an entire page on the The Refiner's Fire website, yet need to be discussed scripturally.  We invite comment and discussion, but reserve the right to screen posts so as to stay on topic.

Shalom and welcome!

  2. By chat room do you mean live chat? For some reason I can't find it.

    1. No, it's not a live chat. For now, it's just us posting articles (which will take awhile)...and people get to respond. We're new at this, so it will take awhile. Plus, we want to make sure we get to moderate, as we don't want all kinds of crazy posts by people we don't know.

  3. I just found The Refiner's Fire today when I googled a question I had while reading my bible which I have read cover to cover at least 3 times. I'm hungry for the truth and have been seeking it for a few years but now that I have read this I know why I have always felt something was missing. I was raised Roman Catholic and then switched to a Methodist Church. There is still an emptiness and a void in this "religion" I'm the type A person who reads something and has to change everything NOW. I want to absorb all this and take it in slowly. So I will start with one question.. Since Yeshua is the fullfillment of Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Weeks Festivals, are they still supposed to be observed? If I were to start living biblically, where do I start? And that's two questions.

  4. GREAT QUESTIONS, Jann! Thank you for trusting us with an answer! Actually “fulfilled” doesn’t mean “abolished.” He said He came NOT to abolish but to confirm (Hebrew: koom which means "establish/confirm)". In other words, He simply “fulfilled” the prophecies about Himself in Isaiah 40:12-25; 2 Samuel 23:1-5 and Deuteronomy 30:11-20.

Every one of the Feasts/Appointed Times has the words “forever” or “throughout your generations” attached to them. “Forever” hasn’t ended yet. Each Festival/Mo’ed foreshadows YHWH’s Plans for His people, and preserves their historical accounts. As a matter of fact, we will be doing them during the Millennium in which Yeshua reigns! For an explanantion about the Festivals, please see our article: http://www.therefinersfire.org/jewish_holidays.htm

For instance, the Seventh Day Sabbath (which is our weekly Shabbat/Mo’ed) is a SIGN between God and His people (which includes YOU!). Y’shua is “Lord of the Sabbath” – and the Seventh Day Sabbath rest wasn’t abolished when He died. Why would it have been?

Exodus 31:16 The people of Isra'el are to keep the Shabbat, to observe Shabbat through all their generations as a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between me and the people of Isra'el forever; for in six days ADONAI made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day he stopped working and rested.'"

Ezekiel 20: 11 I gave them my laws and showed them my rulings; if a person obeys them, he will have life through them. 12 I gave them my shabbats as a sign between me and them, so that they would know that I, ADONAI, am the one who makes them holy.

How do you start living biblically? Perhaps these articles will clarify: http://therefinersfire.org/torah_rules1.htm and http://therefinersfire.org/torah_observance.htm

    Hopes this answered your questions!

  5. It is a relief to find a site like this, and which is not rabidly Hebrew Roots. Balanced, I would say..I am a lurker rather than a partaker and go on a number of Christian forums, but find so much being said that does not fit with my understanding of Scripture. Here you give chapter and verse, and you refer back to the Hebrew meanings, and give proper honour and importance to the Lord God's feasts - our little church barely acknowledges these things, except in reference to 'Easter' so my watch is a lonely one when these times come around, especially the autumn feasts. So, for me you are a great encouragement and I hope to learn from browsing your pages and links. Thank you

    1. Dear Anonymous - we cannot thank you enough for those kind words! We truly do want to provide nothing but the Word because that's ALL that really matters. We have no DONATE buttons because we don't want anybody's money; we just want them to find their way to the God of the Bible.

And for that, we are constantly attacked - which is why posts such as yours are treasured! Traditional Jews hate us for proclaiming Y'shua; Christians hate us for proclaiming Torah. Atheists hate us for believing in God. Satanists have put "death curses" on us.

Scripture tells us all these things would happen - and that we must continue to "keep on keeping on", enduring until the end because the same will be saved (Matt 24:13).

2 Timothy 3: 1. But know this: That in the latter days hard times will come: 2. and men will be lovers of themselves and lovers of money, boasters, proud, revilers, unyielding towards their own people, deniers of grace, wicked, 3. unloving, addicted to irreconcilable malicious gossips, ferocious, haters of the good, 4. treacherous, rash, inflated, attached to pleasure more than to the love of Elohim, 5. having a form of respect for Elohim but wide from the power of Elohim. Them who are such, repel from you. 6. For of them are they who creep into this and that house and captivate the women who are plunged in sins and led away by divers lusts, 7. who are always learning, and can never come to the knowledge of the truth.

Our ultimate goal (although it may not always seem that way, because we are forever having to fend off attacks) is this:

Romans 14: 19 So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

We wish to lead people to YHWH's Truth, to the best of our ability. We're not perfect and we may not even be "doing it right" - but He never said He expected perfection. He just wants our willingness to BE His in every way, and OBEY Him, for that is what is required of His people. Thank you for taking the time to let us know you appreciate us! If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
