There is a
troubling trend today: People who are leaving Y’shua
and the New Testament and clinging to traditional Judaism. There’s nothing wrong with traditional
Judaism; it is the basis of our belief in YHWH and it is where we find Torah - God’s
Divine Instructions in Righteousness without which we would have NO blueprint
for moral, holy living.
But suddenly we have
myriads of Christians who have found their way to Torah and are out there
allowing themselves to be pulled away from the WHOLE Truth that they’ve finally
found - and led into Judaism, which rejects Y’shua and the New Testament!
This is extremely
troubling because it is simply a matter of the blind leading the blind. Jews are blind to the fact that there is a
“rest of the story” which includes our Messiah Y’shua; and Christians have been
blinded all their lives into thinking that Torah (which they erroneously refer
to as “the law”) was only for the Jews.
Torah shows us how to be holy and set apart for Him; and God never said
that only the Jews were to be holy, did He?
So, it is mindboggling to
discover this whole new movement by people who – instead of reading the Bible
for themselves and consulting the Holy Spirit to guide them – have allowed themselves to be swayed to the “other side of
the pendulum” by the likes of big name teachers such as radio host Rabbi Tovia
Singer and the Karaite teacher Nehemiah Gordon, and Australian radio host Jono
Vandor, a former Christian who found his way to Torah and then ultimately
decided Y’shua and the whole New Testament are myths. Google these people for yourself and you’ll
see what I mean; these guys seem to
spend all their waking hours either teaching against and/or bashing those of us
who believe in YHWH, Y’shua and the WHOLE of the Bible! And some are excruciatingly MEAN about it –
especially the former Christians who found their way to Torah and then
ultimately decided that the New Testament and Y’shua are a farce!
Take a look at the disturbing images we've posted on our website for the world to see! Here is but one:
The people who dare make posters such as this
will also eat you alive with sarcasm and viciousness! They
will give you an “Old Testament” concussion using plenty of scorn, mockery,
contempt and double-talk, forbidding you to use New Testament scriptures in
your correspondence with them – because
the New Testament, they insist, is a fairytale.
If you want to prove your “Jesus” (which is how they always refer to Him,
never using his REAL Name, Y’shua, which means YHWH is Salvation) well, you’d
better use ONLY the Old Testament….
Now, they don’t mind
sending you to the Talmud, which is the “Oral Torah” – a collection of ancient discussions
and writings ABOUT the Torah, passed down by the sages. They will tell you that the man-made thoughts
of Talmud are just fine, but don’t think for a minute you may use that nasty
“New Testament” stuff that talks about Jesus – never mind that the entire New
Testament and everything that is taught in it refers back to, and ties in with
the Torah! They will use against you
their twisted ideas about the writings of Paul – which they learned in their
Christian church days and which, despite all their “new wisdom” they still
cannot understand or comprehend – and they’ll sneer at and belittle you into
thinking that Paul was anti-Torah, and therefore his writings are null and
void.
Well, nothing could be
further from the truth, but it’s a true dilemma … and it’s very sad that most
people seem unable to “come to YHWH like little children” (Matthew 18:3) so
they can put aside their limited human mindsets and learn from the Holy
Spirit.
The bottom line is,
there’s really nothing you can do about it, except to pray for these poor,
deluded souls who are unable to see the WHOLE Truth. Our suggestion, if you ever encounter them on
the Internet, is to just leave them alone.
Sow your seeds, if you are led to do so, and then leave it up to YHWH,
because, honestly – you won’t be able to get through to someone who is prone to
believing satan’s lies. You can’t get
through to someone who doesn’t have the Holy Spirit residing within – as is
clearly evidenced by the brutal behavior of some of these folks who believe
they have a right to come up with posters such as the ones you just saw here on
the screen. Nowhere in the entire Bible
does God suggest that HIS people are to behave in such a demonic fashion.
We encourage you to pray
for people who have lost their way.
There’s really nothing else you can do.
To each his own. God allows us
all to choose whom we will follow. Matthew
7:13-14 tells us MOST will NOT be taking that narrow gate that leads to life.
You are so right we need to use the WHOLE Word of YHWH!!!!!!

You bet! :)
DeleteAmein! YHWH/Yeshua: They reject Ruach haKodesh of Abba YHWH is Spirit dwelt in Yeshua (Son) is God (Elohim) manifested in the flesh. Keep up! ;)
ReplyDeleteAmein, Tamra! Thanks for your post!
DeleteThis is becoming more common today I think for a few reasons. One is the rise in people finding out they are descendants of Jews who were forced to convert to Catholicism from Spain and Portugal. They really want to connect with their roots but find out quickly that unless they convert they will never be accepted as legitimate Jews.
ReplyDeleteThe other I believe are people who believe they are Ephraimites and feel they have a right to go back to the land right now, many unfortunately deny Yeshua to get there.
Good point, Simeon! Thanks for taking the time to write!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I almost got pulled into this group. I came to Torah and heard the Rabbi's and teachers you have spoken of (including Jason SpiritualBabies on Facebook) and they really did confuse me. I agree with them in that YHWH is indeed forgiving, but it's theough Yeshua that He is.
ReplyDeleteI needed to see this post. Thank you!
Thank you for your post, Zach! Yes, these people are excruciatingly dangerous because they take people away from the "whole truth." Both sides (the types like "Truth2U Radio/blogs, etc" and the ultra-Christian "Jesus only" and "Paul said" types) are equally off the mark, deluding the WHOLE Word and pulling people down into the pit with them.
DeleteNONE of them have the Holy Spirit within! That is clearly evidenced by the way they behave, the things they write, and just generally the evil way they speak about those who are Torah observant believers who know Y'shua is the Messiah. Both sides want to make you tear your hair out! It takes a strong person who is constantly IN the Word, to keep from getting confused. Congratulations for not allowing "them" to pull you away from the WHOLE of YHWH's Word!
I find it extremely presumptuous for you to say who does and does not have the Holy Spirit.
DeleteYou come across as extremely arrogant and full of anger. The reason so many people are "denying Y'shua" is because they have sought the truth and are not afraid to face it.
Your erroneous teachings keep people in bondage and fear, as you promote the idea that mere human beings are able to steal people away from YHWH. That shows your own lack of solid grounding in Scripture and insecurity about your own beliefs.
Thanks for your comments. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. If you sense any “anger” it’s merely a reaction to the nasty barbs you “anti-missionaries” are constantly throwing at believers in Y’shua! People’s posts and articles speak for themselves. Anyone who can come up with posters/memes such as these http://therefinersfire.org/yeshua_not_zombie.htm (or who are able to click “LIKE” on things like that) cannot possibly have the Holy Spirit within - or does Torah teach you to be evil toward those who disagree with you, or suggest you are to endlessly trash them? I challenge you to peruse some of the posts of “converts” to Judaism on Facebook, and just take a look at the things they’re saying with sadistic glee!
DeleteWhat is totally evident about the “converts” is that they can’t just go somewhere into groups that concentrate on learning more about Torah and singing YHWH’s praises. Noooo. They spend MOST of their time committing lashon hara 24/7 and making nasty barbs about those of us who believe in Y’shua. I doubt YHWH is happy to see that.
If our teachings are “erroneous” PROVE IT! Show us how they’re erroneous – don’t just tell us we’re wrong! Put your money where your mouth is. Our “teachings” aren’t keeping people in bondage, as you suggest (which totally contradicts what you wrote in that paragraphs of yours). People’s ignorance of Scripture is keeping them in bondage! We are constantly urging people to get INTO THE BIBLE for themselves, instead of just believing someone’s teachings.
We are living in some truly crazy times. Hold on tight.
ReplyDeleteYou can say THAT again, Rhondi!
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think that those that have left have not read scripture? That is exactly why they left.. No where does the Tanach teach of a Maschiach that saves people from their sins. Maschiach means anointed. King Cyrus was a mashiach, David, Saul, among others. Maschiach is nothing extraordinary , but a person anointed to do a particular thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the three new posts you sent, but when I saw that you referred to us as "Messiantics" I decided we were done. Don't bother writing back. I got off Facebook because I got tired of the godless name-calling. I don't intend to take it HERE! Got it?
DeleteWell, they might have READ scripture, but they didn't understand it in context. Y'shua is not only foreshadowed in all the feasts (and He has so far fulfilled the first FOUR), but Isaiah 53 is all about Him. For any other questions you might have, please read the articles on this page first, because just about any question anyone might have is answered there: http://therefinersfire.org/ca.htm
ReplyDeleteAnd for heaven's sake don't read that book "Leaving Jesus" by the sorry turncoat James Wood... 17 of my friends forsook Yeshua over that!
ReplyDeleteWell, for heaven's sake, tell those 17 friends they can take up their decision with YHWH on Judgment Day! As can you. And now I invite you to go and bother someone else.
ReplyDeleteThere’s nothing wrong with traditional Judaism? Really? LOVE your teachings. But this sentence...not true.
