Defending YHWH’s Messiah against “counter-missionary” barbs

Torah “experts” assert:

Deuteronomy 13: 1 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.

Christians and "Messianic Jews and Gentiles" worship Jesus as God; he is nothing but an idol! If Jesus, as he professes, is truly the son of the one God of Israel, then why would he only partially complete his task? Why didn't he fulfill ALL the OT prophecies like he was supposed to?

Until Jesus returns and fulfills all the remaining prophecies, he is nothing but a prophet who "produced great signs and wonders" in our midst. Beware, Hashem is "testing us"! If we are commanded to fear the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:13), anything less than a total fulfillment of prophecy will not suffice.

You're right: Christians have their own "god" going. They've effectively taken the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and put him in a box, decided that the Son has replaced the Father, and changed the dates of His birth, death and resurrection and come up with their own "holy days" of Christmas and Easter....

And so we're not addressing what Christians believe, as they are hooked on the many mis-translations and misunderstandings of the writings of Rav Shaul who they seem to believe over and above the things Yeshua actually taught.

Our responses are coming from the Netzarim perspective - those who knew the Torah observant Yeshua and obeyed YHWH!

Having said that, some of the prophecies the prophets of old (Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc.) did not come true while they were alive - and some of the events have not come true yet.

Yet the rabbinic types still believe Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc. are still True Prophets of G-d. Some of the same rabbis know Gog-Magog war is soon to take place so Ezekiel's prophecies did not all occur when he was alive. This shows the rabbis who hold to the above statement are hypocrites and that the above argument by unbelieving rabbis against Yeshua is ludicrous.

Furthermore, the "Old Testament" (Tanach) assures us that God DOES have a "son" and that that "son" shall be called "ADONAI Our Righteousness". In "Old Testament" times, God spoke through Himself, dreams, visions, and the prophets.

Today, He speaks through His Son - through Whom He also made the world (John 1:3, 10; I Cor. 8:6; Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:16; Heb. 1:2):

Proverbs 30:4 - Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has cupped the wind in the palms of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name? Surely you know!

Hebrews 1: 2 But now, in the acharit-hayamin (these last days) he has spoken to us through his Son, to whom he has given ownershp of everything and through whom he created the universe. 3 This Son is the radiance of the Sh'khinah (Spirit), the very expression God's essence, upholding all that exists by his powerful word; and after he had HaG'dulah BaM'romim (the Majesty on High).

Micah 5:2 - But you, Beit-Lechem near Efrat, so small among the clans of Y'hudah, out of you will come forth to me the future ruler of Isra'el, whose origins are far in the past, back in ancient times.

Jeremiah 23: 5 "The days are coming," says ADONAI when I will raise a righteous Branch for David. He will reign as king and succeed, he will do what is just and right in the land. 6 In his days Y'hudah will be saved, Isra'el will live in safety, and the name given to him will be ADONAI TZIDKENU [ADONAI our righteousness].

Question 1:  How many "signs and wonders" can one person perform - especially some really extraordinary ones such as raising people from the dead and walking on water - before someone realizes something truly supernatural is happening?

Question 2: Exactly where in the Bible are we told that Messiah would fulfill all the prophecies at once, and/or in his lifetime? Where does the Bible give us a timeframe for all the prophecies to be fulfilled?

Question 3: Does the "Old Testament" - specifically Psalm 110 - tell us that Moses or any of the prophets are sitting "at the right hand of God"? The prophets of old might have been good men, but they - like ALL humans - sinned and disobeyed God.

So, if Moses, a sinner, isn't sitting "at the right hand of God", who is?

As usual, the "learned rabbis" are putting God in a box and are insisting on understanding Him through their limited, human mindsets. Psalm 90:4 tells us that a "thousand years is like a day" in the eyes of the Lord. In other words, time as we know it, means nothing to Him. So, what makes you think God is working within YOUR idea of a timeframe when it comes to the prophecies?

Think about this fact: God said that the Jews would be a "light to the nations" (Isaiah 42:5-8). How would we have been that "light" without Yeshua, without all the controversy surrounding Him, and all the subsequent "religions" that originated because of Him? Without Him, Judaism would have been kept a huge, insignificant secret, confined to tiny Israel! Because of Yeshua - God's promised New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34) - the entire world eventually heard about the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!

Matthew 28:18 Yeshua came and talked with them. He said, "All authority in heaven and one earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim (disciples), immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son, and the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age."

Unlike any other "rabbi" who ever lived, Yeshua spoke with authority!

The rabbis of old would always refer to Torah, but Yeshua dared to say, "I say unto you..." What made Him different from all the others? Different enough for the rabbis to want Him completely out of the way? Different enough for them to eventually have the Roman soldiers nail him to the cross?

He taught God's Word properly, removing all the "rabbinic" bondage that the rabbis of the day had inserted into their teachings! He performed miracles beyond comprehension, including raising people from the dead, casting out demons, curing lepers, allowing the blind to see, the lame to walk, and the deaf to hear! The Tanach told us this would happen:

Isaiah 35: 5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped; then the lame man shall leap like a deer, and the mute person's tongue will sing....

What other Jewish rabbi has ever accomplished these things? Did Rabbi Menachim Schneerson (whose coffin many Jews are still watching in case he ever rises from the dead) do any of these things?

Granted, Yeshua and all His miracles mean nothing, unless one "believes" that the "New Testament" is true.  So, let's step back into the "Old Testament" - TANACH! - for a moment to show how it foreshadowed what was to become part of the "New Testament"....

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore ADONAI himself will give you people a sign; the young woman will become pregnant, bear a son and name him 'Immanu El [God is with us].

(The word "Immanu El" is repeated in Isaiah 8:8.) (Jewish anti-missionaries will argue to the death about the word "alma" NOT meaning "virgin".

Isaiah 9: 6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us; dominion will rest on his shoulders, and he will be given the name Pele-Yo'etz El Gibbor Avi'Ad Sar-Shalom [Wonder of a Counselor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace], 7 in order to extend the dominion and perpetuate the peace of the throne and kingdom of David, to secure it and sustain it through justice and righteousness henceforth and forever. The zeal of ADONAI-Tva'ot will accomplish this.

When YHWH gave us His New Covenant, as seen in the Brit Chadasha (Renewed Covenant), YHWH's Son was physically walking among us! (Yeshua was human with a divine qnoma [nature] sent by YHWH Himself and he did everything His Father commanded - see Luke 4:43, Luke 8:1, Acts 28:23 and Acts 24:14!)

If YHWH can speak through a burning bush or a donkey, or reveal Himself as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, WHY wouldn't He be capable of sending a Divine Messiah in the form of His own "Son"?

Lest we forget, Yeshua fulfilled the prophecy of the Tzit-Tzit and the healing he has in his wings:

Malachi 4:2 - But to you who fear my name the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings...."

Trump ordered an airstrike overnight that killed Iran's top general. HUGE outcry now against America, and the Iranian leadership has threatened SEVERE retaliation. And, of course, the moronic Democrats are criticizing the action. They prefer to see the endless "red line drawn in the sand" that Obama used to threaten while he was doing nothing about anything...

But, make no mistake: This WILL rile up the Muslim terrorist groups around the world. The Middle East has been a hotbed of wars and tension since seemingly forever - and the ONLY one who will be able to put an end to man's nonsense is Yeshua. And he WILL - when he returns to fulfill the rest of the prophecies!

"For behold the stone I have set before Joshua; upon that stone are seven facets; behold I will engrave the graving thereof, saith YHWH of hosts: And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. In that day, saith YHWH of hosts, shall ye all visit every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree." (Zechariah 3:9-10).

(The key element in Zech 3:9-10 is the part about removing all iniquity from Israel in a single day and having the world at peace, neither of which happened during the Second Temple period. Therefore, this prophecy is definitely far removed from the lifetimes of Joshua or his men. Who else EXCEPT Yeshua can accomplish this?)

People - look around you and open your eyes. Research all the changes in humanity, weather patterns and increasing natural disasters, etc. that we have witnessed in just the last century, to get a glimpse of the fact that the Books of Daniel and Revelation ARE unfolding. There's NOTHING we can do to change that!

Mankind, for the MOST PART, is NOT on YHWH's Path, and so the time is getting closer by the day for Yeshua's return. That means, the time to get yourself "right" with our Creator is NOW! Nobody is guaranteed the next day - whether death by natural causes, natural disasters, war or terrorist acts! We're not guaranteed complete safety just because we "believe in Jesus"...

What we ARE guaranteed is eternal life IF we have accepted YHWH as our ELOHIM, and Yeshua as His Divine Messiah who martyred himself on our behalf - with the stipulation to be WHOLEHEARTED by doing His Will. There will be NO "halfhearted" people in Eternity with YHWH and Yeshua....

So, devour His Word; truly STUDY and LEARN it. LIVE IT! If you've been lukewarm, STOP it! Yeshua won't be kidding around when he returns. There will be NO "tolerance" on his part. We cannot know exactly when he will return, but we CAN know when it is near, even at the door (Matthew 24:33; Mark 13:29; Luke 21:31, etc.)

Revelation 3:16. So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to vomit you from my mouth.  (AENT)

Well, the Muslims just keep beheading! The latest is a Muslim attack on a Christian bridal party beheaded on their way to a wedding….

While Christianity has quite a checkered past when it comes to killing innocents for not converting, my personal opinion is that Islam is the "beast" of Revelation.

WHY? Because they're very forceful and adamant about spreading their religion - WHATEVER it takes! To that end, they have been infiltrating foreign countries throughout the millennia....

Think about it: WHO ELSE besides Muslims are going around beheading today? And every time they do, they shout, "Allah akhbar!"

The Book of Revelation tells us that many believers in Messiah will be beheaded (not shot or stabbed or hanged, but BEHEADED!)....

Revelation 20:4. And I saw thrones, and (persons) sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and to the souls that were beheaded for the testimony of Y'shua and for the Word of Elohim: and these are they who had not worshiped the beast of prey nor its image; neither had they received the mark upon their forehead or on their hand; and they lived and reigned with their Mashiyach those thousand years. (AENT)

Let's not forget that Islam has been THE major thorn in Israel's side for the last 4,000 years because of, starting with the conflict between the half-brothers Ishmael and Isaac: https://www.therefinersfire.org/ishmael_and_isaac.htm Israel has done its level best (even given up their sacred Temple Mount!) for the sake of "peace" with the Muslims...and yet, the Muslim attacks against Israel continue to this day!

Despite the world’s best efforts to stay out of that ancient conflict, the world HAS been dragged into it - and people are "taking sides." (We all know what happens to those who are against Israel...) Unfortunately, this 4,000 year old conflict is destined to ignite the last war of the world, according to the Bible prophets.

One day, the nations of the Earth will take up arms against Israel, and YHWH's chosen people will be surrounded. But He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep, (Psalm 121:4) and HE will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. (Zechariah 14:3)

"I will make Yerushalayim a cup that will stagger the surrounding peoples. Even Y'hudah will be caught up in the siege against Yerushalayim. When that day comes, I will make Yerushalayim a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who try to lift it will hurt themselves, and all the earth's nations will be massed against her. (Zecheriah 12:2-3).

The final battle in the Age of Man will be for control of Jerusalem, a place no one wanted until YHWH chose it as His own. (2 Chronicles 6:5-6). Since then the forces opposed to Him have ceaselessly tried to take it from Him, for in the spiritual realm control of Jerusalem signifies victory over ELOHIM.

You see, Israel is quite simply the most important piece of Real Estate in the entire Universe - and for all those who would seek to divide it or give it to someone else or even "internationalize" it, need to be advised YHWH still wants it and HE is NOT going to give it up!.

"He said, "Human being, this is the place for my throne, the place for the soles of my feet, where I will live among the people of Isra'el forever. The house of Isra'el, both they and their kings, will never again defile my holy name by their prostitution, by [burying] the corpses of their kings [on] their high places." (Ezekiel 43:7)

Yes, brothers and sisters - Islam is a MONSTER sneaking in the back door while everybody else is looking to the Catholic Church to be the "Beast". But, the Catholic Church (pagan as it is) isn't urging their followers to infiltrate foreign countries (making sure NOT to assimilate with the local populace), nor is it urging anyone to BEHEAD THE INFIDELS..

Just for clarification’s sake, Islam was created by Mohammed approximately 6 to 7 hundred years after the death of Yeshua.  While Islam wasn’t around 4,000 years ago in Ishmael’s time, Islam may NOT have existed at all, if Avram and Sarai had trusted YHWH about giving them a child, instead of taking matters into their own hands and producing a child through Hagar ... a child that, while not the one YHWH made His covenant with, was promised to become a "great nation" despite the fact that he was a "great donkey of a man whose foot would be against everyone."  (Genesis 16:13-16)

Ishmael was sent to live in the wilderness region of Hejaz in what became known as the Arabian Peninsula (see Genesis 21) ... who had twelve patriarchal sons who became associated with the peoples known as Midianites, Edomites, Egyptians and Assyrians. The Bible and Islamic tradition both agree that Ishmael became the leader of all the great desert peoples of the Middle East - of which Mohammed, the founder of Islam, was a citizen....

It is truly a never-ending battle to be a Torah observant Believer in Messiah Yeshua! WRONG! You can do one of two things: You can either IGNORE everybody and quietly live your Torah observant life; OR you can  fight back, using the Word … and as you do, become a true witness for ADONAI (Isaiah 12:4; Jeremiah 26:2; Psalm 96:3; Matthew 28:19-20, etc.)  As you all know, I have chosen the latter – which is why I wrote my books, and created my website and a couple of Facebook groups….

Having said that, I wanted to share just one of the latest comments from a new Christian Facebook friend who clearly wishes to “educate” me – not by arguing, but by bombarding me with various New Testament scriptures designed to show that “Jesus abolished the need for Torah.”  Below is just one example:

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 NKJV

MY RESPONSE:

You are correct! 

But my question is:  What did Jesus teach? A new religion called Christianity? (Please provide chapter and verse for that one!) That His Father's Divine Instructions in Righteousness (Torah) were moronic - even a CURSE! - and that His Word in NO WAY applied to the Gentiles who claim to believe in the same God as the One Jesus prayed to - except somehow these people who called themselves "Christians" were to be exempted from obedience to that God?

Since you’ve also claimed that those Old Testament rules only pertains to the Jews, did Jesus teach hat only the JEWS were to follow His Divine Instructions for holiness?  Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and all his offspring weren’t Jews, yet we see all of them obeying God – even paying a stiff penalty whenever they didn’t!  I mean - let's be realistic: Mankind is IN this lost world BECAUSE Adam and Eve (who weren’t Jews) DISOBEYED just ONE of His commands....

Yet, now you insist that somehow Christians have NO rules to follow just because Jesus died; and you focus ALL your attention on Jesus – a MAN who was born and died! – by suggesting that he replaced the Father (without whom we wouldn’t even have our Divine Messiah!).

Did Jesus also teach that this "new religion called Christianity" (that he did NOT bring) would be allowed to not only call the Messiah Yeshua (his given, Hebrew name which isn’t that hard to pronounce!) by a different name, but also that they should ignore the dates of his actual birth, death and resurrection, and come up with their own "holy days" of Christmas and Easter - neither of which are included in God's seven COMMANDED Festival times?

If he DID teach ANY of those things, wasn't he going directly against His Father's WORD which specifically stated that ALL who accept the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are to do EXACTLY as His Chosen People do? (See Exodus 12:49, Numbers 15:13-16, Isaiah 56:6, and Romans 10:12-13 which all confirm our need for Torah.)

Brother, I pray that God would open your eyes to HIS Truth, and I highly suggest you re-read the WHOLE Bible, starting in Genesis, all the way through to Revelation.  Once you’ve done that, then we can continue this conversation.

About God making Pharaoh “hard-hearted”

Some have attempted to use the biblical plagues to "prove" the idea of predestination  because YHWH made Pharaoh “hard-hearted - insisting that before the creation “God determined the fate of the universe throughout all of time and space.”

HOWEVER, we find something very interesting when viewing Exodus 7 through 12 through the “Hebrew mindset.” Let’s take a look:

In Exodus 7:3, we read that God will "harden" Pharaoh's heart, but did you know that the word used in the first five plagues translated as "harden" has nothing to do with hardness? Each time a plague comes and breaks Pharaoh's will, the original Hebrew as used implies God "strengthened" Pharoah's heart or that he "made Pharoah's heart heavy." It actually is a significant difference from the meaning of the English word “hardened”.

This understanding reveals it is less a situation of Pharaoh's decisions being controlled against his will; rather, with each plague Pharaoh's will was broken. YHWH then strengthened his heart (gave back to him the strength he had before the plague) and thus, Pharaoh chose defiance of his own free will. (Read carefully the 6th plague, Exodus 9:12 which specifically involves YHWH. Most English versions still use the word “hardened” and it sounds the same to the English reader. But in the Hebrew another word is used meaning “strengthen”.)

Pharaoh was thought to be a god in Egyptian theology, so YHWH was determined to show His glory over pharaoh, the elements, nature, and so on - all designed to prove that YHWH was in charge. Could pharaoh have repented?  Did he have that choice?  Sure, if he had renounced his crown and the spiritual claims that came with it and given his life to YHWH. But, he never did that - YHWH knew all this beforehand....

And so the plagues revealed a true tug-of-war between YHWH and man - and guess who won! Every time Pharaoh attempted to challenge YHWH, he caused his people (who blindly and apparently unbegrudgingly followed/obeyed their leader) severe grief (as is the case of many leaders today who manage to deceive people into thinking they are perfect and have the answers to everything). Cases in point can be found in the first seven of the ten plagues YHWH sent to Egypt: Blood, frogs, lice, insects, death of livestock, sores and hail (Exodus 7:1 - 8:25).

My final word about Christmas this year

On the news this morning, we saw a list of the ten most popular Christmas songs of 2019 - and not one of them was about Jesus - who is THE supposed "reason for the season." They are all about "me" and "what I want" and "gift giving" and "feel good" stuff that has nothing, whatsoever to do with the Kingdom of YHWH....

And since Christmas doesn't have anything to do with Jesus (which it actually doesn't, but that's a whole 'nuther story), WHAT is its purpose? WHY has Christmas been allowed to masquerade as one of YHWH's High Holy Days, when it has NOTHING to do with the birth of His Son?

According to every Christmas song we're bombarded with in stores for a least two months before Christmas, it's all about "Santa Claus" (who knows whether you've been bad or good) coming to town"....

And, let's get real here: You KNOW young children are believing the lies they're told, as evidenced by one 5 year old boy who recently called 911 to enlist help in arresting the Grinch who is trying to steal Christmas ... and the cops obliged him!

My question is: While it's good to nurture a child's imagination, what makes it okay to LIE to innocent little human beings who absorb your every word as Gospel Truth? And WHY do we do it ESPECIALLY at a time when the child is supposed to be learning about God's SON?

According to what we see and hear for two full months or more BEFORE Christmas, it's all about BUY, BUY, BUY! Go into debt, debt, debt so you can place those gifts under the tree. (NONE of which happened during the actual birth of our Divine Messiah....)

So, why am I writing this?

I'm writing this because I've belonged to YHWH hook, line and sinker since the day He opened my eyes in January 1995, and it pains me VERY much to witness that most "believers" in this world seem to be only half-hearted types who "look the other way" when it comes to YHWH and His Word.

They don't mind that Christmas is about everything EXCEPT God! Oh sure - many run to church on Christmas Eve and believe themselves to have fulfilled their duty to God. But the reality is, you don't hear them lamenting about the LIES surrounding this "holiday", or the fact that so many DO go into debt to buy gifts - which clearly goes against Scripture (2 Kings 4:7; Proverbs 17:18; 22:7; 22:26-27; Nehemiah 5:3-5; Matthew 6:24, etc.)

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that, if believers don't mind the things I mentioned above, it reveals that they're only good at "talking the talk" because "walking the walk" is a foreign concept to them.

THAT is what irks me about Christmas - the HYPOCRISY!

And that's the last thing I have to say about this sickening fake of a "holiday". I hope and pray that anyone reading this, who sees nothing wrong with Christmas, will re-examine where they are spiritually, get INTO the Bible to see what God actually expects of HIS people, and then begin to DO it. He has a weekly Sabbath (a weekly "date") just for us; along with seven amazing High Holy Days - spread throughout the year (our "yearly dates" with Him) - each of which has a special meaning tied directly to Jesus (whose actual given Hebrew name is Yeshua - which means, "YHWH is Salvation".

Unfortunately, most of the world is blind to that.

How sad!

Well, as always, NORAD is "tracking Santa Claus as he travels around the world in his sleigh" today.

Whether it's "just make-believe" or not, billions of little children over the centuries have been led to BELIEVE the lie, and that's whats NOT okay. It's NOT okay for several reasons, including the fact that this lie deliberately "steals YHWH's thunder" - because this mythical being does NOT know "who's been naughty or nice!" YHWH does.

And since "God" is supposedly the "reason for the season," then WHERE IS HE? In most homes during Christmas time, how often is HE actually mentioned?

I'm sorry to be coming across like a "wet blanket" here, but truth is truth. Our world is falling apart at the seams, and most are blind to the fact that Scripture is unfolding before our very eyes! We NEED to stop playing around and get serious about God's Word!

Start reading it today, to see what HE actually said and expects of HIS people for, when Yeshua returns, he won't be displaying "love" and "tolerance". He's coming to take control of the world - the world MANKIND keeps attempting the destroy! (See Revelation 3:16.)

Psalm 101:7 No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes.

Colossians 3:9-10 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

Luke 8:17 For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.

Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.
