Many (if not most) people who claim to be “believers” have either never read the Bible, or “only some of it”….

On one of my Facebook groups I ask three membership questions for those desiring to join the group.  Two of those questions are: (1) "How long have you been a believer?" and (2) "Have you ever read the Bible from cover to cover, in sequence?"

Of the more than 700 members in that particular group, most say they’ve been a believer for at least a decade or more, but that they’ve either "never read the Bible," or “just some of it.”

What I would truly like to know is:

(1) WHY have you never read the Bible? Surely, you could have found SOME time in all those years to read your way through!

(2) How do you know WHOM you’re worshiping if you’ve never bothered to read the Word?

(3) Do you not realize that upon Yeshua’s return, because you couldn't even be bothered to read His Word at SOME point during your lifetime, you will be considered “lukewarm” and “vomited from his mouth?” (Revelation 3:16)

Throughout the entire Bible we see ADONAI’s desire to have a true relationship with His people. He has tried EVERYTHING – and yet MOST seem to be lukewarm toward Him.

They basically put God on a shelf, removing Him from there only when they want or need something. Other than that, He’s not a part of their life. (Chatting about God or posting the occasional fluffy meme on Facebook doesn't make you "wholehearted" in His eyes!)

Folks, there are many stern warnings in Scripture:

If you can’t be bothered to give haShem some of your precious time NOW, then don’t be surprised if HE refuses to give YOU much time on Judgment Day, when ALL He has to say to you is: "I never knew you! Get away from me, you evildoer!" (Matthew 7:23)

Unless you not only KNOW but actually OBEY His Word (and especially, His TORAH - Divine Instructions in Righteousness specifically outlined in the Torah), you are considered "lukewarm" and an "evildoer" or "worker of lawlessness"....

He is NOT kidding around!

Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
