Y’shua’s teachings did not come from himself!

Some are under the false impression that Y'shua brought "his own commandments," and that these are somehow “new and improved” over the ones given in Torah. But that is simply not true. How can we know this? By re-reading what he said. Y'shua's words, commandments and commands, were ALL according to, and validated by, Torah! Take a look:

Luke 24:44 Yeshua said to them, "This is what I meant when I was still with you and told you that everything written about me in the Torah of Moshe, the Prophets and the Psalms had to be fulfilled." (CJB)

John 5:39 You search the Scriptures, because you think you possess everlasting life in them. And these are the ones that bear witness of Me. 40 “But you do not desire to come to Me in order to possess life.

41 I do not receive esteem from men, 42 but I know you, that you do not have the love of Elohim in you. 43 I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive. 44 How are you able to believe, when you are receiving esteem from one another, and the esteem that is from the only Elohim you do not seek?

45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Mosheh, in whom you have set your expectation. 46 For if you believed Mosheh, you would have believed Me, since he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My words? (ISR)

Y'shua constantly makes it very clear that his teachings do not come from himself.

John 7:16. Y’shua answered and said, My teaching is not mine, rather it is of He who has sent me. 17. He who desires to do His will can comprehend my teaching, if it is from Elohim, or if from my own will I speak. 18. He who speaks from his own mind seeks glory for himself, but he who seeks the glory of He who sent him is true and there is no iniquity in his heart. (AENT)

John 12:49 For I have not spoken on my own initiative, but the Father who sent me has given me a command, namely, what to say and how to say it. 50 And I know that his command is eternal life. So what I say is simply what the Father has told me to say." (CJB)

John 14::10 Don't you believe that I am united with the Father, and the Father united with me? What I am telling you, I am not saying on my own initiative; the Father living in me is doing his own works. 11 Trust me, that I am united with the Father, and the Father united with me. But if you can't, then trust because of the works themselves. (CJB)

John 14: 24 Someone who doesn't love me doesn't keep my words -- and the word you are hearing is not my own but that of the Father who sent me. 25 "I have told you these things while I am still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Ruach HaKodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything; that is, he will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 "What I am leaving with you is shalom -- I am giving you my shalom. I don't give the way the world gives. Don't let yourselves be upset or frightened. (CJB)

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.(AENT)

Mark 8:38 38 For if someone is ashamed of me and of what I say in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels. (CJB)

John 15: 7. Now if you abide in me and my words abide in you, anything that you desire to ask will be given to you. (AENT)

John 15: 12 "This is my command: that you keep on loving each other just as I have loved you. (CJB)

John 10: 30. I and the Father are one. (AENT)
