It’s not a good idea to bash Jewish people….

I recently landed upon the wall of a Facebook “friend” whose posts reek of Jew hatred and blatant anti-Semitism. Obviously, this person (and all those who are in agreement with him), doesn’t realize that YHWH chose a Jewish woman to become pregnant with His Divine Messiah Messiah, who – consequently - was a Jew!

This person’s posts also show that he apparently doesn't understand that both, Christianity and his present, Torah observant belief, originated in JUDAISM – which is the ONLY “religion” that took its cue directly from the Word of YHWH, as revealed in Torah (the first five Books of the Bible that contain all of YHWH’s Divine Instructions, along the history of His Chosen people and their original Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).

This person also doesn’t seem to realize that the ONLY reason the world outside of Israel even knows about YHWH and His Torah, is because He chose the Tribe of Yehudah/Judah (where we get the term “Jew”) to safeguard and preserve the Torah during the Diaspora; and to be a light unto the nations by exemplifying the covenant with God as described in the Torah. (See Genesis 49:10, the Book of Deuteronomy, Isaiah 11:11-12; Ezekiel 20:34; Micah 4; Hosea 3 and 6; and 1 Thessalonians 2.)

In other words, if it hadn’t been for “the Jews,” the world would still be writhing in paganism! Believing Jews are Torah observant, as YHWH instructed; and the “grafted-in” (Romans 11:17-18) - instead of being arrogant about their status as Christians or Torah observant believers in Messiah Yeshua - should be GRATEFUL to the Jews for introducing them to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and His Torah!

Also featured on the wall of my "Facebook friend" are myriad “forwards” (memes, videos and articles “borrowed” from others) about the Jews’ supposed "rabid adherence to Talmud and Zohar" – all designed to make Jews appear to be downright evil and satanic.

MY RESPONSE: (1) Gossip and lies are SINS. (2) Unless one is an actual, LEARNED SCHOLAR on Talmud and Zohar, they aren’t qualified to espouse ANY kind of personal opinions on those writings! (3) How sad that Internet anonymity has given a voice to anyone with an opinion; and allowed the arrogant with no boundaries to believe themselves to be “experts” on any given subject, simply because they watched a video, or read an article somewhere!

Here are some BIBLE READINGS for the "grafted-in" who are under the erroneous impression that they have somehow replaced the Jews:

Genesis 49: 10 The scepter will not pass from Y'hudah, nor the ruler's staff from between his legs, until he comes to whom [obedience] belongs; and it is he whom the peoples will obey.

Genesis 12:2 I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” (CJB)

Deuteronomy 7: 6 For you are a people set apart as holy for Adonai your God. Adonai your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his own unique treasure. 7 Adonai didn’t set his heart on you or choose you because you numbered more than any other people — on the contrary, you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 Rather, it was because Adonai loved you, and because he wanted to keep the oath which he had sworn to your ancestors, that Adonai brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from a life of slavery under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

9 From this you can know that Adonai your God is indeed God, the faithful God, who keeps his covenant and extends grace to those who love him and observe his mitzvot, to a thousand generations. 10 But he repays those who hate him to their face and destroys them. He will not be slow to deal with someone who hates him; he will repay him to his face. 11 Therefore, you are to keep the mitzvot, laws and rulings which I am giving you today, and obey them. (CJB)

Romans 11:11 “In that case, I say, isn’t it that they have stumbled with the result that they have permanently fallen away?” Heaven forbid! Quite the contrary, it is by means of their stumbling that the deliverance has come to the Gentiles, in order to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Moreover, if their stumbling is bringing riches to the world — that is, if Isra’el’s being placed temporarily in a condition less favored than that of the Gentiles is bringing riches to the latter — how much greater riches will Isra’el in its fullness bring them! (CJB)

Isaiah 11:10 On that day the root of Yishai, which stands as a banner for the peoples - the Goyim will seek him out, and the place where he rests will be glorious. 11 On that day Adonai will raise his hand again, a second time, to reclaim the remnant of his people who remain from Ashur, Egypt, Patros, Ethiopia, 'Eilam, Shin'ar, Hamat and the islands in the sea. 12 He will hoist a banner for the Goyim, assemble the dispersed of Isra'el, and gather the scattered of Y'hudah from the four corners of the earth. (CJB)

Jeremiah 31: 34(35) This is what Adonai says, who gives the sun as light for the day, who ordained the laws for the moon and stars to provide light for the night, who stirs up the sea until its waves roar — Adonai-Tzva’ot is his name: 35(36) “If these laws leave my presence,” says Adonai, “then the offspring of Isra’el will stop being a nation in my presence forever.” 36(37) This is what Adonai says: “If the sky above can be measured and the foundations of the earth be fathomed, then I will reject all the offspring of Isra’el for all that they have done,” says Adonai. (CJB)

Romans 11:25 For, brothers, I want you to understand this truth which God formerly concealed but has now revealed, so that you won’t imagine you know more than you actually do. It is that stoniness, to a degree, has come upon Isra’el, until the Gentile world enters in its fullness; 26 and that it is in this way that all Isra’el will be saved. As the Tanakh says, “Out of Tziyon will come the Redeemer; he will turn away ungodliness from Ya‘akov 27 and this will be my covenant with them, . . .when I take away their sins.” (CJB)
