Two of God’s end times prophecies were fulfilled after WWII…because of what Hitler did!

DID YOU KNOW - God used what Hitler did during WWII, to bring about TWO of His end times prophecies? It's true!

In Isaiah 66:7-8, the prophet (1) foreshadowed the re-birth of Israel, and, just like the Bible says - (2) it happened "in one day." The woman giving birth before going into labor represents Israel. This accurately describes what happened on May 14, 1948 - when "the world" briefly felt sorry for the Jews and returned Israel to them and they were able to declare independence for Israel as a united and sovereign nation for the first time in 2,900 years.

During that same day, the United States issued a statement recognizing Israel's sovereignty. And, only hours beforehand, a United Nations mandate expired, ending British control of the land. During a 24-hour span of time, foreign control of the land of Israel had formally ceased, and Israel had declared its independence, and its independence was acknowledged by other nations. Modern Israel was literally was born in a single day.

Isaiah said the birth would take place before there would be labor pains. And that too is precisely what happened. A movement called Zionism began in the 1800s to encourage Jews worldwide to move to Israel, which at that time was called Palestine. Within hours of the declaration of independence in 1948, Israel was attacked by the surrounding countries of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

When reading Isaiah 66:7-8, keep in mind that Israel's status as a sovereign nation was established and reaffirmed during the course of a single day, and that it was born of a movement called Zionism, and that its declaration of independence was not the result of a war but rather the cause of one.

  1. I take issue with this post.

It omits SO MUCH, like Balfour Agreement, REVELATION 2:9,“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan."

WHO are these "who say they are Jews and are not?"

    and what about,

    Isaiah 11:11
It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

Did those currently occupying Israel come from all of these places, including "the islands of the sea?"

    or,

JOEL 3:1 “For behold, in those days and at that time,
When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations,
    And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
    Whom they have scattered among the nations;

They have also divided up My land.
3 They have cast lots for My people,
Have given a boy as payment for a harlot,
And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

6 Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem
You have sold to the Greeks,
That you may remove them far from their borders.

7 “Behold, I will raise them
Out of the place to which you have sold them,
And will return your retaliation upon your own head.

Were those currently occupying Israel SOLD as slaves and scattered, removed far from their borders?

Thank you for taking the time you respond. I am currently studying endtimes, found your site, and now desire clarity.

    Shalom.

  3. Hi Karla,

This blog comment area does not permit long replies, so I will necessarily be brief. Taking issue is okay and seeking clarity is good! Thank you for your comments.

About the Balfour Agreement, it only stated Great Britain's favor of establishing a Jewish homeland in Palestine. In fact it is just one sentence. Israel did not become a nation from that declaration (1917).

As to Revelation 2:9, those "who say they are Jews and are not" are evidently people claiming the Jewish faith, perhaps pretending, perhaps espousing faith but teaching something else causing strife. (Sounds like many false teachers today!) Note that John was addressing the assembly in Smyrna, not the world in general so he was not suggesting that there were "fake Jews" all over and that they somehow would occupy the Land. This is a particular problem John was addressing to the synagogue at Smyrna, yet is clearly applicable to any community where believers are oppressed or persecuted by non believers but it does not, IMO, mean that modern-day Israel is occupied by "fake Jews"!

As to Isaiah 11:11, and questioning if modern Israel meets the origins of those called from these locations, are you suggesting that these places must, today, be known and identifiable? Isaiah 11 goes on to say "...and gather the scattered of Y'hudah from the four corners of the earth." That covers all locations! It seems that there is no obvious, special significance of the places named, rather, they were named because they were far away places known to people at the time. Also, who is to say this prophecy has even yet come to pass? The verse states that these events are to occur when YHWH raises His hand a second time. Has that happened?

And regarding the concern about Joel 3, I'm a little concerned that your interpretation is requiring that present-day Jews of Israel must have first been sold as slaves, scattered, and removed from their borders to return and reclaim the land. But all Jews recognize that what happened to their ancestors is considered as having happened to them. This is clear as one of the great tenets of Judaism is that "we were chosen" (to be YHWH's people). No one today was actually "chosen", yet through that blood-tie to the people who were chosen eons ago, Jews today have every right to claim that "what happened to their ancestors, happened to me". (This also means that when their ancestors erred and strayed, they own that too!) So, yes, modern-day Jews would absolutely identify with having been sold into slavery and scattered because their ancestors were.

These are all good issues Karla. Biblical prophecy is not easy! If it were easy, there'd be no need for the thousands (?) of books that have been written discussing and dissecting it!
