Homosexuality – the “straw that broke the camel’s back”….

Mishpocah, our land has become defiled, and America is in great peril!  We read in our most recent Torah portion that YHWH does NOT put up with decadence of any kind.  Take a look:

Leviticus 18:25 The land has become unclean, and this is why I am punishing it - the land itself will vomit out its inhabitants. 26 But you are to keep my laws and rulings and not engage in any of these disgusting practices, neither the citizen nor the foreigner living with you; 27 for the people of the land have committed all these abominations, and the land is now defiled. 28 If you make the land unclean, it will vomit you out too, just as it is vomiting out the nation that was there before you.

29 For those who engage in any of these disgusting practices, whoever they may be, will be cut off from their people. 30 So keep my charge not to follow any of these abominable customs that others before you have followed and thus defile yourselves by doing them. I am ADONAI your God.'"

There are plenty of scriptures that tell us He will CURSE the land that reeks of decadence – beginning with Genesis 3:16-18 where He angrily told Adam and Eve exactly what was to happen now that they decided to ignore His command to NOT eat from the tree of the knowledge of “good and evil!”  (See also Deuteronomy 28:17-19, Leviticus 18:24-27, and Jeremiah 23:9-11.)

While Y’shua was dying on the stake, he said, “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.”  (Luke 23:34)  He felt for them because in those days the “religious” types truly believed they were protecting YHWH’s Word, His Torah, and they felt Y’shua was a major blasphemer who needed to be put to death.  

I highly doubt that he would have said the same about the “gay agenda” - because they KNOW what they are doing!  They are blatantly going into the Face of God!  They have all heard that “small, still voice” of the few  Believers who dare to speak YHWH’s Truth, shouting to this lost world that the God of the Bible says homosexuality is an ABOMINATION! (See Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13.)

ALL of us are expected to turn from evil ways, homosexual or heterosexual alike:

Psalms 34:14 turn from evil, and do good; seek peace, go after it! 15 The eyes of ADONAI watch over the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry. 16 But the face of ADONAI opposes those who do evil, to cut off all memory of them from the earth.

1 Peter 3:10 For 'Whoever wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit, 11 turn from evil and do good, seek peace and chase after it. 12 For ADONAI keeps his eyes on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers; but the face of ADONAI is against those who do evil things.'

1 Chronicles 7: 14 then, if my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.

Amos 5:14 Hate evil, love good....

Folks, homosexuality is WRONG by decree our Creator, and I am SICK and TIRED of “the world” forcing it on us as “normal”!  What galls me is that it’s not enough for the gays to know they have “won” their battle (at least until Judgment Day when they’ll get a dose of reality – as will all those who supported it!)  No… they HAVE to keep reminding us “they won” by putting at least one “gay” scene into every TV show or movie we watch – making sure that those witnessing the “love” are standing there, cooing, “Oh, how sweet!  We’re so happy for them!” 

My most recent encounter is with the TV series, “Once Upon a Time” (a supposed “family show”) which was doing fairly well until recently when it introduced its first “gay” scene between Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, and Little Red Riding Hood (whose name is Ruby in the show), who awoke Dorothy from a “sleeping spell” placed upon her by the wicked witch.   Not only did she kiss Dorothy on the lips to awaken her, but then they had to take it a step further by causing the duo to fall into each other’s arms to do a long, passionate lip lock, while all their friends watched with raptured delight!  It was COMPLETELY SICKENING!

By the way, for those who have never seen “Once Upon a Time”; it is an American fairy tale television series, on ABC. The show takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, whose residents are characters from various fairy tales transported to the "real world" town and robbed of their real memories by a powerful curse. Episodes typically feature a primary storyline in Storybrooke, as well as a secondary storyline from another point in a character's life before the curse was enacted.  It was actually a fairly “cute” show for several seasons as it served to remind the audience of the childhood fairy tales they once loved while blending the various tales unto one….But recently, the show began to mix too much “darkness” and horror into something that children all across America are watching.  And now, unfortunately, America’s children have been forced to watch a “gay” scene … which, of course, presented the idea that homosexuality is perfectly normal….

I don’t care what “lifestyle” people choose for themselves; it’s not my concern.  But what really angers is that the “gay agenda” has removed CHOICES for heterosexuals.  The ONLY choice we have now if we don’t want perversion shoved into our faces, is to either accept and ignore the perversion…OR throw our television sets out the window and never enter a movie theater again….  It’s completely obvious that this nonsense is NOT going to stop until Y’shua returns to put a swift end to it!  May his return be VERY SOON! 

In the meantime, I hope and pray that the voices of Believers will be loud enough to touch some “out there” who will wake up enough to realize WHY the earth is experiencing earthquakes, fires, floods, tsunamis, droughts, famines, terrorist acts and satanic behavior on the part of many humans, etc.  YHWH our God has HAD IT with us!  We ARE experiencing whatever happened “in the days of Noah” to cause YHWH to drown the world (Genesis 6).  He will do it again – only this time, it will be by FIRE!

2 Peter 3: 5. For this they willingly forget, that the heavens were of old; and the earth rose up from the waters, and by means of water, by the Word of Elohim.  6. (And), by means of these (waters), the world which then was, (being submerged) again perished in the waters.  7. And the heavens that now are, and the earth, are by His Word stored up, being reserved for the fire at the day of judgment and the perdition of wicked men.  8. And of this one thing, my beloved, be not forgetful: That one day to Master YHWH, is as a thousand years; and a thousand years, as one day. 

9. Master YHWH does not delay His promises as some estimate delay; but He is long suffering for your sakes, being not willing that any should perish, but that everyone should come to repentance.  10. And the day of Master YHWH will come like a thief; in which the heavens will suddenly pass away; and the elements, being ignited, will be dissolved; and the earth and the works in it will not be found.  11. As therefore all these things are to be dissolved, what persons should you be, in Set Apart conduct and in the Fear of Elohim,  12. expecting and desiring the coming of the day of Elohim in which the heavens being tried by fire will be dissolved and the elements being ignited will melt? (Oh, and by the way, and on this morning’s news we discovered “the happy news” that ABC news correspondent Gio Benitez married his lover.  Until today, we had no clue he, too, was gay. What a world we live in!)

Challenging the counter-missionary comment, "Jesus can't be the Messiah becuse he didn't fulfill all the Messianic prophecies while he walked the earth."

ANTI-MISSIONARY COMMENT: Your Jesus can't be the Messiah because he didn't fulfill all the Messianic prophecies! 

MESSIANIC RESPONSE: Where does it say he had to fulfill them within a certain timeframe? He has fulfilled at least 300 of them already, with the rest to be fulfilled upon his return! 

1 Peter 1:11 tells of the two comings of Messiah - his coming to suffer and die for our sins, and his subsequent glory.

Both comings are mentioned in Malachi 3:1 - "Look! I am sending my messenger to clear the way before me; and the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple. Yes, the messenger of the covenant, in whom you take such delight - look! Here he comes," says ADONAI-Tzva'ot. 2 But who can endure the day when he comes? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire, like the soapmaker's lye.  3 He will sit, testing and purifying the silver; he will purify the sons of Levi, refining them like gold and silver, so that they can bring offerings to ADONAI uprightly.  4 Then the offering of Y'hudah and Yerushalayim will be pleasing to ADONAI, as it was in the days of old, as in years gone by. Mark 1:1. The beginning of the Good News of Y’shua the Mashiyach the Son of Elohim, 2.  As it is written by the prophet Yesha’yahu, “Behold I will send my Messenger before your face that he prepare your way. (Malachi 3:1)  3. A voice which cries in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of Master YHWH and straighten his paths.’” (Isaiah 40:3)  (AENT)

See also Matthew 11:10 where John the Baptist is clearly identified as the messenger of ELOHIM.  John was the forerunner of Y’shua haMashiyach.  This is clearly a reference to His first coming.

In Isaiah 40:3 we have a similar prophecy, which is fulfilled in Matthew 3:3.  John is the voice crying in the wilderness, "Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.”  Please don’t miss this!   According to both Tanach prophecies, John the Baptist prepared the way of the Lord, that is, YHWH.  In the New Testament John prepared the way for Y’shua. Think about what that means….

Compare Malachi 3:1 to Isaiah 61:1- 2 and its fulfillment in Luke 4: where we read:  18. “The Spirit of Master YHWH is upon me and because of this, He has anointed me to declare hope to the poor.  And He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted and to preach release to the captives and sight to the blind.  And to free those who are oppressed (by the power of) forgiveness,19. and to preach the acceptable year of Master YHWH. (Isaiah 58:6; 61:1-2)"  (AENT)

All of this is related to the first coming of Messiah.  When Y’shua read these verses in Luke's gospel, he stopped short.  Take another look at Isaiah 61:2, where Isaiah mentioned "the day of vengeance of our God."  Y’shua didn't mention that day, because it was related to his second coming.  The first time Y’shua came, he did not come to judge the world, but rather to “save” the world by revealing His Father and His Father’s Torah, while proclaiming the Kingdom and doing everything his Father commanded (Luke 4:43 and 8:1).  Take a look:

John 6: 35. Y'shua said to them, I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to me will not hunger. And whoever believes in me will not ever thirst. 36. But I have said to you that you have seen me, and you do not believe. 37. All who my Father has given to me will come, and whoever comes not to me I will cast outside! 38. For I came down from heaven,[1] not to do my will, but to do the will of Him who sent me. 39. And this is His will, that of Him who sent me, that all that He has given to me I do not lose even one. 40. For this is the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in Him, will have life that is eternal. And I will raise him up on the last day. (AENT)

[1] As in the context of Miltha (the Word) or the "Manifestation" or the "Will of" YHWH coming down from heaven to do the Will of YHWH upon earth; his Spirit is of YHWH but his nephesh (soul) and body are human and temporal. This shows that Yeshua (the human Messiah with a “divine nature” was NOT in charge; HIS FATHER WAS!

The above refers to YHWH’s promise to send a prophet who was to do everything He ordered him to do – and that is exactly what Y’shua did:

Deuteronomy 18: 15 "ADONAI will raise up for you a prophet like me from among yourselves, from your own kinsmen. You are to pay attention to him, 16 just as when you were assembled at Horev and requested ADONAI your God, 'Don't let me hear the voice of ADONAI my God any more, or let me see this great fire ever again; if I do, I will die!' 17 On that occasion ADONAI said to me, 'They are right in what they are saying. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their kinsmen. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I order him. (CJB)

Challenging Bruce Springsteen's attempt to use his "star power" to force the rest of us into submission to support abnomal behavior

Okay, I can’t help myself – I HAVE to chime in on this latest “LGBT” bathroom battle. As you’ve probably all heard by now, ol’ Bruce Springsteen recently canceled his North Carolina concert because he feels it’s not right to prevent some dude who thinks he’s a girl from using the Ladies Room.  (And now, this legislation in North Carolina “could impact the NBA’s ability to host the 2017 All-Star game in Charlotte, the league announced Thursday”… )

Yes, GREAT idea - let’s all get together and withdraw our money-making skills to support a minority group making some really weird, outlandish and downright bizarre demands!

Well, unlike Springsteen, I don’t have access to “big media” (I‘ve just been a “working stiff” all my life who’s never stood on stage to be idolized and worshipped), so, here’s me exercising my First Amendment Rights on places like Facebook and on my own website. Here goes:

Mr. Springsteen, I’m saddened that you – someone who SINGS for a living and thus happens to have access to the media to proclaim his ungodly, poorly-thought-out opinions on such a volatile, delicate and complex subject – believe YOU have the right to decide WHO enters gender-specific restrooms! So, sure, cancel your cotton-pickin’ concert! Who cares? It’s not a matter of life or death for anyone…especially me, because I don’t like your music, anyway!

But I’m left wondering just who you think you are, using your “idol power” to make the statement that some confused person should use the restroom of whatever gender they “choose” to be? What about women like me who don’t wish to have a male entering the public restroom I use? Do I not count? Obviously not! Has it ever occurred to you that, if the laws pass to allow “transgenders” to use public ladies’ rooms, the lunatics of the world with rape on their mind will take advantage of the situation by slipping on a dress and lie in wait in some bathroom stall? Nobody will question it, because this – like “gay marriage” – will soon become the norm.

So. what about MY rights to NOT have some crazy jerk walking in on me while I’m in the ladies room…what about MY rights to NOT be fearful of entering a public restroom, dreading that I might be raped by some nutcase pretending to be “transgender?” I’m not quite 5’ 3” and weigh a whopping 109 pounds with all my clothes on. What chance do I have against some big, burly guy in a dress accosting me in a bathroom stall? If he does everything “just right” I won’t even be able to scream or struggle – and maybe I’ll even end up dead. Is THAT all right with you, Mr. Springsteen? Do I not have the RIGHT to remain unharmed whenever I use a public toilet? Can YOU guarantee that nothing bad will happen to me if these ridiculous LGBT “uni-sex” public restroom laws are passed?

Here’s the bottom line: I don’t know whether or not you’re a “believer” in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His Word (the Bible). But without bothering to quote any of the myriad scriptures that discuss sexual perversion and the specific behavioral rules and dress codes God outlines for men and women, I want to make you aware of a thing civilized societies rely upon, called RULES. Rules are designed to protect everyone. The rules in the United States and in all other modern civilized societies have always mandated separate restrooms – for both privacy and safety reasons. People like yourself have NO right to decide that these rules should change to allow “confused” people to use “whichever restrooms” they choose to use! I pray you are capable of understanding that!

I feel for those who believe themselves to be “in the wrong body”; however, we must also employ some common sense here. And common sense dictates that those with a penis enter MEN’s restrooms. End of story! The bottom line is, they are NOT women! If they fear they will be beaten up in the men’s rooms for wearing dresses, then perhaps they should consider wearing pants whenever they’re in the general public and plan on using public restrooms. Why should WE – the majority of the population who KNOW their gender and abide by the rules – suddenly have to submit to YOUR skewed “worldly” opinions that sympathize with the desires of those who aren’t happy with the gender on their birth certificates?

The world is turned upside-down enough without people like you presuming they should use their “star power” to help to FORCE perversion down our throats! It’s bad enough that “gayness” has been forced upon the world as “normal” (you can’t watch TV or a movie anymore without at least one “gay” scene!); but don’t you DARE pretend you can force ME to have to start fearing entrance into public restrooms. THAT is where I draw the line! YOUR “rights” end where MINE begin, and vice-versa!

Because of people like you, we are in a modern-day Sodom and Gemorrah - and if you don’t know what that means, I suggest you Google it. God has removed His mighty hand from the world BECAUSE of the rampant decadence and disobedience to His Word – and this the reason for all the natural disasters, the crazy, destructive weather patterns, and all the hideous happenings in the world. (Just watch the daily news and you’ll see what I mean. These things aren’t “just coincidence”….Read the Books of Daniel and Revelation!)

Yes, cancel every concert you wish, but do NOT tread on MY rights! Because you’ve made your RIDICULOUS “statement” that pushes the demise of morality and decency and the rights of others to continue using public restrooms without fear, I highly suggest that ALL those who believe in God boycott you and all those who are stepping into the limelight to support the LGBT “movement” in their attempt to force the world to accept deviant behavior as “normal.” Perhaps you would start “speaking out the other side of your mouth” if you ended up bankrupt because nobody is buying your music! (That’s probably never going to happen because most of America, it seems, doesn’t have any morals today. Most don’t care what God commanded…but trust me, they WILL one day…The Bible tells us so!)

Regardless, it’s high time for people to start fighting back against all abnormal agendas! Whether or not we “win” is irrelevant, but if we stand firm for God, then at least on Judgment Day, we’ll be able to hold our heads high and tell Him, “I did my best for You!”

Is it okay to "tithe"/donate to animal charities?

An avid animal lover recently posed a great question, wondering if it was wrong to send more donations and “tithes” to animal charities than to “people-oriented” causes. My short answer was: No, this is not wrong. Animals are YHWH’s creatures, and they, too, need our help in this “fallen” world. Here is a more indepth explanation:

In Genesis 1:19-25, we learn that YHWH made living creatures (birds and animals, etc.) before He ever made man (in verse 26). Once He made man, He gave him dominion over the animal kingdom. Then, in verse 28, He outlined man's responsibilities. (In ALL of YHWH’s covenants, we see His part, and man's part.) He gave man the gift of dominion, which sets us apart from the animals; and man, in return, had to take on the responsibilities to be fruitful, multiply, fill and subdue the earth, and rule over the animals.

In the next part of the contract, Genesis 1:29, He says, “Throughout the whole earth I am giving you as food every seed-bearing plant and every tree with seed-bearing fruit.” Note that meat-eating is not given! Why? Well, perhaps because in the Garden of Eden, before the fall of man, there was no death! No death meant no meat-eating, no carnivores, no carrion beetles, no flies feeding on spoiled flesh, no mold or bacteria to break down dead organic material, and no disease. The entire environment was different...

In Genesis 1:30, plants are given to the animals as food. Note that when the plants are given as food to the animals and man, there is no corresponding responsibility... they are simply given as a gift. The end result of the covenant is that while animals are tied in to man's covenant in some pretty specific ways, they are not given any responsibilities or rights - just the gifts. Meanwhile, MAN bears some responsibilities for both!

Moving on to Genesis 2:16-17, please note that when YHWH gave man food, he also made some rules about that gift. There are no rules given to the animals, only to man. In verses 18-20, YHWH sets out to find a helper for Adam, and creates the animals - but none are suitable as a mate. (The original language actually says none of them "corresponded" to Adam.) The animals are considered as possible "helpers" - which means they have that capacity - to be helpers and companions, but they cannot be “mates” for humans.

Now let's go on to Genesis 3:14 where we see that one of YHWH’s created creatures – the serpent - played a huge role in Adam’s demise. And as everyone knows, for that, the serpent was cursed! Genesis 3:14 says, “ADONAI, God, said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and wild animals.’”

ALL ANIMALS are now cursed! Why? Because in the first covenant, man is in charge of them, has dominion over them, is responsible for them... and somehow, this ties them into the curse of the serpent. So we discover that YHWH curses the animals right along with the Serpent and Adam, and Eve…EVERY living creature is cursed because of the Original Sin!

Genesis 3:14 ADONAI, God, said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and wild animals. You will crawl on your belly and eat dust as long as you live. 15 I will put animosity between you and the woman, and between your descendant and her descendant; he will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel." 16 To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pain in childbirth. You will bring forth children in pain. Your desire will be toward your husband, but he will rule over you."

17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to what your wife said and ate from the tree about which I gave you the order, 'You are not to eat from it,' the ground is cursed on your account; you will work hard to eat from it as long as you live. 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat field plants. 19 You will eat bread by the sweat of your forehead till you return to the ground - for you were taken out of it: you are dust, and you will return to dust." (CJB)

When Adam disobeyed, the whole environment changed! Death entered in, affecting not only mankind, but all the animals as well. (As a matter of fact, one of the very first animal sacrifices we see is in Genesis 3:21, where YHWH killed an animal to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve who suddenly knew “shame” because of their blatant disobedience!) If Adam and Eve had only kept away from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:16-17)! But now, their cushy life was finished – as was the cushy life of the animal kingdom. Suddenly, they all found themselves thrown out of Eden, where lions grazed, where mosquitos drank plant sap (as the males of the species still do), and where nothing ever decayed….

Back in verse 18, we see that even the plants are affected! With death as a possible result of being eaten, plants were now forced to grow protection. Yes, death is now a fact of life. The animals did not sin, but their fate was our fate!

Genesis 3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to what your wife said and ate from the tree about which I gave you the order, 'You are not to eat from it,' the ground is cursed on your account; you will work hard to eat from it as long as you live. 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat field plants. 19 You will eat bread by the sweat of your forehead till you return to the ground - for you were taken out of it: you are dust, and you will return to dust."  (CJB)

Now check out Genesis 8:17- 22. Noah's first act, upon setting foot on dry land was to sacrifice one of every “clean” animal. Then, in Genesis 9:1-5, YHWH makes His covenant with Noah, and here is where we begin to realize that YHWH’s original covenant has not been changed; rather it has been augmented:

Genesis 9:2 The fear and dread of you will be upon every wild animal, every bird in the air, every creature populating the ground, and all the fish in the sea; they have been handed over to you. 3 Every moving thing that lives will be food for you; just as I gave you green plants before, so now I give you everything - 4 only flesh with its life, which is its blood, you are not to eat. (CJB)

Remember, up to now, animals were NOT wild; they were unafraid of man! (This is actually the reverse of what we have been taught by the “evolution” types - that wild animals were tamed and domesticated... but it seems that first, it was the other way around!)

We also see (Genesis 9:3) that YHWH instituted meat-eating which is the reason the animals needed to fear man! It was also the reason for the need of SEVEN of the clean animals on the ark (as opposed to just two of the “unclean” animals)! Man was now to eat the clean animals and sacrifice them to God…

Genesis 9:5-6 establishes that those who commit murder are required to die, and this goes for animals that kill man, as well. Now, after the Covenant has been defined, YHWH states WITH WHOM the covenant is made: Genesis 9:9 "As for me - I am herewith establishing my covenant with you, with your descendants after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you - the birds, the livestock and every wild animal with you, all going out of the ark, every animal on earth.”

Again, note that the fate of the animals is one and the same as the fate of mankind! This being true, according to Scripture, we humans are OBLIGATED to take care of the animals because WE are the reason they are in this “fallen” world with us! The animals didn’t sin; MAN did!

A word about abortion and the Bible

We occasionally receive questions about abortion, with people asking things like, “How does God feel about abortion” or “Where can abortion be found in Scripture?” or “Do you think life begins at conception – or not?”  Well, let’s allow Scripture to speak for itself: 

Exodus 21: 22 "If people are fighting with each other and happen to hurt a pregnant woman so badly that her unborn child dies, then, even if no other harm follows, he must be fined. He must pay the amount set by the woman's husband and confirmed by judges.

And Psalm 127 tells us:  3 Children too are a gift from ADONAI; the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 The children born when one is young. are like arrows in the hand of a warrior. 5 How blessed is the man who has filled his quiver with them; he will not have to be embarrassed when contending with foes at the city gate.

Matthew 18 has a dire warning:  1. At that moment, the disciples drew near to Y’shua and said, “Who indeed is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?  2. And Y’shua called a child and made him stand in their midst.  3. And said, Truly I say to you, that unless you change  and become like children, you will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.  4. He therefore who humbles himself like this child, he will be great in the Kingdom of Heaven.  5. And he who receives one like this child in my name receives me.  6. And anyone who harms one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for him that the millstone of a donkey would be hung on his neck and he be sunk into the depths of the sea. 

Matthew 18: 10. See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones.  I say to you, for their Messengers in heaven  at all times see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Mark 10: 13. And children were approaching him so that he might touch them, but his disciples were rebuking those who were bringing them.  14. And Y’shua saw it and was offended and he said to them, Allow the children to come to me and do not hinder them. For because of those who are as these, the Kingdom of Elohim exists.  15. Truly I say to you, that anyone who does not receive the Kingdom of Elohim like a child, will not enter it.  16. And he took them into his arms and placed his hand upon them and he blessed them.

Be that as it may, many pro-abortionists (which also includes some Believers) insist that abortion is not mentioned in the Bible, and therefore, God left it up to us. The fact is, abortion is not mentioned in the Bible because it is a relatively new and modern term; it was something unheard of two- to five-thousand years ago; let alone, practiced. In those days, nobody thought of invading their own bodies to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy.

Except for prostitutes and those who had no choice because they were somehow taken as slaves, women normally didn't have sex outside of marriage! If they did they were considered "damaged goods" and often ostracized – or even stoned to death (Deuteronomy 22:20-22 and tons of other passages).  Children were considered "gifts from God" and most wouldn't have dared to kill them inside the womb, or out!

(Remember, promiscuity is a relatively modern thing – especially since the advent of the birth control pill in 1960. Suddenly, women didn’t have to worry about getting pregnant anymore. Freedom! Regardless, “the pill” has been known to fail…)

It’s sad that millions of babies every year are aborted because they are an “inconvenience.”  Some women have multiple abortions, and think nothing of it as it is their “birth control” method.  The problem is, in today’s world, things seem to be “upside-down.”  Everything YHWH considers "bad" is now considered "good" and vice-versa! We are an entitled, “me-oriented” society where “getting rid of the fetus” is as easy as making an appointment at your local abortion clinic.  It all falls under “family planning.”

I wonder what God calls it?

(NOTE: This little article wasn’t meant to condemn anyone, because we’ve ALL done things we regret – we were ALL sinners … that has been the human condition since the Garden of Eden. As Believers today, we know we are blessed to have been forgiven once we “saw the light” and repented and gave our lives to YHWH/Y’shua. We must never forget to thank Him for His grace and mercy - for Y’shua who died to give us eternal life. His death served to forgive ALL our past sins, and now, we are expected to lead a set-apart, Torah observant life. It’s the least we could for Him in return.)

We must examine ourselves honestly to see whether or not we're truly "godly"

Most of us believe ourselves to be good, godly people once we become "saved" (as the Baptists say). But the problem is, immediately, we're told that once we “believe in Jesus”  nothing else is required" of us.  You belong to Jesus now, you've been baptized - what else could there possibly be?  Well, this makes us LUKEWARM!  And when you're immersed with others who believe the same way, you end up STAYING "lukewarm" because you don't know any better because you never bother to read the “fine print” (namely Torah, the first five Books of the Bible which contain ALL of God’s “do’s and don’ts” – many of which contain the words “forever” or “this will continue throughout your generations”, such as keeping seventh day Sabbath, YHWH’s Feasts, etc)!

Sure, you "go to church" and you "attend Bible studies" - but what they teach is fluffy, "God loves you and wants to work in your life" stuff that never gets into the MEAT of Torah! They never tell you that God expects something from US - which is OBEDIENCE! They never lead you to the verses that warn you about what happens to those who don't follow His Divine Instructions (Torah).  All you EVER hear in church is, “Jesus loves you” and “nothing else is required.”

They never seem to notice that the “Old Testament” did NOT pertain to “just the Jews” as we clearly see in Numbers 15:13-16, where YHWH said FOUR TIMES IN A ROW that ALL who accept Him are to do exactly as HIS people do…and HIS people have always been Torah observant.  It’s apparently never dawned on them that on Mt. Sinai when YHWH handed down His Torah, He was also addressing all the Gentiles who had followed Moses out of Egypt and had been absorbed into the 12 tribes where they were told if they accepted YHWH as their God, they would need to OBEY Him.  YHWH never, ever said that Gentiles would have “new rules” after “Jesus” died!  MAN decided that nonsense. 

Moving on to the “New Testament” we see that in the Book of Revelation we are told in two different verses that, to gain eternal life, we have to do what?  We have to have the testimony of Y'shua, AND keep ELOHIM's commandments!  

Revelation 12: 17. And the dragon was enraged against the woman; and he went to make war upon the remnant of her seed who keep the Commandments of Elohim and have the testimony of Y'shua. (AENT)

Revelation 14: 12. Here is the patience of the Set Apart believers who keep the commandments of Elohim, and the faith of Y'shua.  (AENT)

NOTE: There are two very distinct groups; one willfully breaks the Commandments of Elohim and causes others to do the same, but the other group keeps the Commandments of Elohim and observes Torah. God warns us in Proverbs 4:2 - "I give you good instruction: Do not forsake my Torah."

With the advent of Catholicism and Christianity, the entire "Old Testament", along with God's original teaching and instruction, basically became irrelevant (mainly because of their misunderstandings about the writings of Paul, some of which seem to negate Torah).  What people fail to realize is, Paul was JUST A MAN who had no authority to negate what YHWH commanded and what Y’shua taught!  And what’s more – he DIDN’T!  They have been reading his writings through “Greek eyes” which totally distorted the original meaning.  Therefore, when "the rapture" finally happens, many will be very surprised to discover they were left behind....

While YHWH eventually recorded ten in stone, we must remember, these ten are just part of the larger picture taken from YHWH's Torah which He said would stand forever. Many Christians balk at this idea because they are under the erroneous impression that they don't even have to bother even keeping the TEN Commandments anymore (let alone the "613"); but, rather, just two - and they cite the following as "proof":

Matthew 22: 36. "Teacher, which Commandment in Torah is the greatest?" 37. And Y'shua said to him, that "You should love Master YHWH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might and with all your mind." 38. This is the first and the greatest Commandment. 39. And the second is like it. That "You should love your neighbor as yourself." 40. On these two commandments hang Torah and the prophets. (AENT)

So, I would ask those who insist they only need to keep two commandments to please re-read verse 40 with the help of the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit). Does verse 40 imply that all of God's original instructions have been done away with? NO! The Torah and the Prophets HANG/ARE DEPENDENT ON those two commands! There's more to it than just "loving God and loving your neighbor!  There’s more to God and the Bible than simply, “believing in Jesus!”

YHWH said His Word would stand forever (Psalm 119:89). Since "forever" hasn't ended we need to pay close attention to ALL of the Bible for what God actually says - not what we think it says.  Why can’t “the church” figure that out?
