In this week's Torah portion, we saw YHWH lay down lots of rules. And then, quite out of the blue, amidst all the rules, there appears this little passage about YHWH's angel (messenger) that could only have referred to Y'shua!
Why? Because Y'shua is the only heavenly Being who has YHWH's Name within his own! (Remember, Y'shua means "YHWH Saves!" All the messengers/angels only have YHWH's title of "Elohim" within theirs - i.e., Rapha-EL, Gavri-EL, Micha-EL.)
Exodus 23:20 "I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you on the way and bring you to the place I have prepared. 21 Pay attention to him, listen to what he says and do not rebel against him; because he will not forgive any wrongdoing of yours, since my name resides in him 22 But if you listen to what he says and do everything I tell you, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.
