About the Mormons becoming more "transparent" about their religion....

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently released documents that give more information on the origins of the founding of the religion by Joseph Smith in the 19th century. They are attempting to become more “transparent” – explaining how ”The Book of Mormon,” the church's official Scripture (which they don’t seem to realize is EXTRA-BIBLICAL!), supposedly came from an ancient text inscribed on golden plates discovered by founder Joseph Smith.

If you have ever studied Mormonism, they have some really STRANGE ideas – NONE of which line up with Scripture!  We invite you to see our article which exposes some of their totally off the mark ideas.

  1. My mom and dad joined the mormon church in the early 60's. However they came away as my father was becoming more and more concerned with some of their teachings and beliefs. They believe the 'OT & NT' have been superceeded by their own writings given to their founder. However the icing on the cake for my dad was their belief and teachings of - Multiple Words, Multiple Gods - They were teaching (and still do today but not 'straight away) that God created multiple worlds and each world has people living on it. They also believe that multiple Gods exist but each has their own universe. We are only subject to our God and if we obtain the highest level of heaven we can become gods ourselves. (they do not teach this one straight away for the following reason - Mormons, like Jw's 'prey' are chirstians still eating 'milk' not 'meat'. The reason being its a lot easier for them if their 'prey' has a little foundational knowledge. When 'consumed' ,it easier to assimilate them and hit them with the wierd stuff later without it being rejected….The part I am sure my mother would have liked is that if my mother ensured that she was a good wife and judged so my the church , whe would have been allowed to join him ruling his planet….lol
