 I WAS JUST INVITED TO A "TRUTHER CONVENTION" - people who are convinced the earth is flat, the moon landing never happened; and several other ridiculous notions.

AND who had the privilege of being selected as an alternate for the Department of Defense (DoD) Group 2, Astronaut (Manned Spaceflight Engineer program) in the Eighties.

Bill also had Master's Degree in Engineering Physics, and - during his Air Force service - he worked on space-based lasers and commanded two Air Force detachments operating sensors on satellites.

In other words, if anybody would know whether the earth is round or flat, it would be Bill...
