Violence seems to be in vogue again…

IT’S AN ELECTION YEAR, AND ONCE AGAIN WE ARE BEGINNING TO SEE PROTESTS AND PROTESTERS RESORTING TO VIOLENCE. For many years now, there has been absolutely NO respect for laws or law enforcement anymore. People are becoming ever-more violent, and everyone seems to do “what is right in their eyes.” (See Judges 21:25, Proverbs 21:2.)

Many applaud violence and stupidity, yet either become more violent, or whine like babies when the police are called to intervene (and often they and the liberal media will blame the police if anyone ends up hurt or dead)…

Proverbs 6: 16 There are six things ADONAI hates, seven which he detests: 17 a haughty look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that plots wicked schemes, feet swift in running to do evil, 19 a false witness who lies with every breath, and him who sows strife among brothers. (CJB)

I would like to know WHY people will gather in the streets and on college campuses to protest everything EXCEPT “bad behavior!”

They NEVER march to carry signs that suggest GOOD behavior … signs that say something like: “Crime doesn't pay; it’s your own fault if you end up hurt or killed while rioting!" or "Don't become a thug; make something decent of yourself!" or "Being a good, godly, upstanding citizen is more rewarding than punching a cop who has been called in to keep YOU from committing more violence!"…

Our country's values are absolutely upside-down today, and that is just plain sad! The Bible warned us that this would happen:

2 Timothy 3: Moreover, understand this: in the acharit-hayamim (latter days, end of days) will come trying times. 2 People will be self-loving, money-loving, proud, arrogant, insulting, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, uncontrolled, brutal, hateful of good, 4 traitorous, headstrong, swollen with conceit, loving pleasure rather than God, 5 as they retain the outer form of religion but deny its power. Stay away from these people! (CJB)

Romans 1:28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. (CJB)

Most of the world is writhing in carnality. Consequently, things are only going to get worse...and then we will be "as in the days of Noah":

Matthew 24:37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Genesis 6:9 Here is the history of Noach. In his generation, Noach was a man righteous and wholehearted; Noach walked with God. 10 Noach fathered three sons, Shem, Ham and Yefet. 11 The earth was corrupt before God, the earth was filled with violence. 12 God saw the earth, and, yes, it was corrupt; for all living beings had corrupted their ways on the earth. 13 God said to Noach, "The end of all living beings has come before me, for because of them the earth is filled with violence. I will destroy them along with the earth
. (CJB)

Most are NOT traveling that narrow gate that leads to life – and their reward awaits them!

Romans 1:28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. (CJB)

Proverbs 21:4 Haughty looks, a proud heart -what the wicked plow is sin. (CJB)

Isaiah 50: But all of you who are lighting fires and arming yourselves with firebrands:
go, walk in the flame of your own fire, among the firebrands you lit! From my hands this [fate] awaits you: you will lie down in torment. (CJB)

Let’s face it: Without the Holy Spirit within, we cannot find God or the shalom that only HE can bring. It seems most don’t want to follow rules - and they certainly not YHWH's Divine Instructions in Righteousness!  Everybody wants to do what's right in their own eyes.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE READING THIS, REMEMBER: The remnant that is truly seeking Him and being humble enough to listen to HIS Voice instead of following their own limited, human mindset, is VERY small. Which road will YOU follow?

Matthew 7:13 "Go in through the narrow gate; for the gate that leads to destruction is wide and the road broad, and many travel it; 14 but it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life, and only a few find it. 15 "Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep's clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves! 16 You will recognize them by their fruit.... (CJB)

John 4:23. But the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, indeed.  For the Father, He seeks worshippers as these.  24. For Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship, they must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (AENT)

  1. The protesters and vandals are among the deluded types (Romans 1:25-28) of the world who follow their master (Genesis 3:5, John 8:44, 2 Corinthians 4:4 and 2 Corinthians 11:13-15). I often wonder when the coming judgement starts (Yirmeyahu 30:7 and 2 Kepha 3), will the protesters look at their freedoms, rights, art forms or opinions?

  2. While surfing the net, I came across a story that there is a double standard applied to those who are Anti-Semitic. If these protests were applied to blacks, there would outcries of racism. Yet when it's YHWH and His Set Apart people being targeted, few are critical. I also see hypocrites in these protesters. The same types who are anti-Semitic probably practice sexual immorality and drug abuse as well as tear down the Confederate monuments over slavery issues.

  3. Should the views of Darwin, Marx, Freud, Haeckel, Huxley, Rousseau and Kinsey be banned from academics and media? Their views (pervasive racism as well as deviant and distorted sexuality, man is an animal, things evolved over vast ages, etc.) are often the "facts of life" to the Torah-less crowds. I often wish the world would go back to a pre-1700s outlook (it's not likely to happen though).

    1. Kevin, actually, I'm not sure the writings if Darwin, Marx, Freud, Haeckel, Huxley, Rousseau and Kinsey, etc. should be banned, as it's good to have "other" (no matter how outlandish) or opposing views on things.

No one person on earth has "all" the answers; or does everything "right." Therefore, we NEED to have a plethora of information to help us weed out the nonsense and come up with a proper, logical conclusion…

Remember, God created Good and Evil (Isaiah 45:1-8) … which gave humanity the CHOICE to choose one or the other. He gave us a brain to think with, and other viewpoints help us to actually "see" that there are different (often "better") ways of doing or solving things.

The viewpoints of others give us a chance to determine whether or not "our ways or thoughts" were the correct solutions to problems that need solving. Hence, we NEED the views of others - for balance, if nothing else.

God also gave us discernment and the ability to reason, which means we are able to "weigh" what is being said, offering options before making decisions or coming to any conclusions. We wouldn't be able to do that if we didn't have opposing or differing viewpoints from others.

Borrowing from an old Oak Ridge Boys' song: "Where the sun always shines, there's a desert below." What that means is, we need both, the sun AND the rain to make the earth's vegetation flourish. We even need forest fires sometimes, to get rid of the old brush and deadwood, etc., which will "renew" the land, preparing it for fresh growth.

Isaac Newton wrote that “every action has an equal and opposite reaction…” He asserted that some forces result from contact interactions (normal, frictional, tensional, and applied forces are examples of contact forces) and other forces are the result of action-at-a-distance interactions (gravitational, electrical, and magnetic forces).

According to Newton, whenever objects A and B interact with each other, they exert forces upon each other. When you sit in your chair, your body exerts a downward force on the chair and the chair exerts an upward force on your body. There are two forces resulting from this interaction - a force on the chair and a force on your body. These two forces are called action and reaction forces.

I mentioned Newton’s knowledge of physics to illustrate that life is full of “action” and “reaction” … which is essential for everything - including the human body, AND the mind … the very power that allows us to “choose God” or Satan. Action and reaction. To make the “right” decisions, it is imperative to have the proper knowledge, or “input” from various sources or people, to help US grow into the people YHWH wants us to be.

I know this was rather lengthy, and “the long way around” – but I felt your great question deserved a proper response … which I was able to make because I actually studied some of your above-mentioned books! (And, yes, I came to the same conclusions about their writings as YOU did – thanks to the writings of the scholars whose thoughts, ideas and research opposed those of Freud and the others…)
