Following “false teachers” is not a good thing….

"Well, I love my husband ... but, I also have a boyfriend on the side. God understand my needs."

"Well, I like this politician because of his policies. Okay, I know that he has Nazi and some 'white supremacist" affiliations ... but, I'm gonna vote for him, anyway, because I know he's going to do great things for our country!"

"Yes, Mom, I know my fiance is a terrorist, but I love him and he loves me, so what's the big deal?"

What's the big deal? Well, when it comes to SCRIPTURE, you can't "cherry pick" because you'll end up being considered "lukewarm" on the day Yeshua returns (Revelation 3:16). THAT's what the "big deal" is!

If my examples above turned you off, then ask yourself why you aren't turned off by off-the-mark Bible teachers! Like the people in my examples, they might "sound okay" on the surface, but if their foundations are off, they are ROTTEN to the core!

For instance - look around Facebook to see who some people are following, and then ask yourself, WHY they're following the teachings of someone who doesn't "believe in" Yeshua, Paul or the New Testament. Why are they following someone who preaches "New Testament-only grace and mercy" and all manner of other 'fluffy' doctrines?

If people are off in the slightest about THOSE VERY IMPORTANT topics, then you need to run the other way - or else you'll be just another adulterer or "corrupt politician" leading the world into the pits of Hell.

Think I'm kidding? Take a look at just some of the myriad scriptures that warn people to stay away from false teachers and their rotten teachings designed to lead people away from YHWH's Truth:

Deuteronomy 18:20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”

Jeremiah 14:14 Then ADONAI said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.

Matthew 24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

  1. What about assertions/mantras like "He loves me no matter what" and "It doesn't matter what you believe in"?

    1. Show them scriptures as to why that's wrong - because Scripture is CLEAR that the "He loves you no matter what" theology is wrong, as indicated in Revelation 3:16 where Yeshua vomits everyone from his mouth, who were "lukewarm" toward YHWH. You're either "wholehearted" or "half-hearted." There won't be any "half-hearted" in heaven.
