Here's an amazing little teaching about wheat and tares, by my Facebook friend, Shawn Wiggins:
I recently was at a Family Retreat where the speaker talked about the wheat and the tares!
Wheat is heavy because it has nutrients and so bends over, almost bowing down. We want to be considered wheat because when the pressure comes, we have something substantial, and can feed those around us!
The tares are empty and mostly husk - they stand up straight and tall! They look impressive, but offer little good to anyone.
In the Field you can see them, growing - sometimes right next to each other ... The humble wheat bows down and the tare stands tall and proud!
