It holds true for both ...That's so true, Kevin! It holds true for both believers and unbelievers, as many are downright two-faced. Some are very good at it. This particular guy who killed 26 in that little Baptist church was a known violent criminal abuser - yet somehow, he managed to legally obtain an arsenal of weapons....

Other lunatics manage to remain "under the radar" until they commit their murderous acts, and their neighbors are always surprised to find out they lived next to a monster. (For instance, the Las Vegas mass murderer.)

As for the "religious" among us, since I became a Believer in January 1995, I have witnessed way too many who only "talk the talk." They refuse to "walk the walk" because it requires some discipline on their part. Many church people go to church mainly for the social experience. They never crack their Bibles during the week and are basically there to "warm the pews" and be seen. Afterward, they return home to behave in the same way they always have - whatever that might entail.

Once YHWH caused me to find my way to Torah, I noticed this two-faced way of living is absolutely rampant. I mean, Torah demands righteous living, which translates into "being set apart/holy" in your daily walk, keeping the Seventh Day Sabbath and the Feasts and refraining from eating "unclean" meats.

Well, if you're on Facebook, you've probably seen some of "our" brothers and sisters who not only see nothing wrong with posting dirty jokes and cuss words, but they still do the man-made holidays of Christmas and Easter, both of which are steeped in paganism - and all the while, they have the audacity to post their favorite scriptures and/or "teachings" for others to see.

In my time on Facebook I've seen pathological liars and blowhards who will do anything to "make a buck"; crazies who view themselves as Apostles or heavenly messengers, or even Y'shua himself; and I've witnessed several cases of adultery, spouse abuse and divorce, and more recently, pedophilia.

Hypocrites abound. It's just that some label themselves as "believers." We all know what will happen to those types when Y'shua returns! Scripture tells us to beware of such people (Mattithyahu 7:15).Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09165901818107578168noreply@blogger.com
