Studying the Weekly Torah portions help you grow into the person God needs you to be!

Shabbat shalom, everyone!  We’re only four weeks away from the new Torah cycle, wherein we will start all over again in Genesis.  Please join us by reading our weekly Torah portions designed to help you get to know God and His Word!

For those new to Torah studies, all you have to do to is to click on the link to our easy-to-read outline of each week’s Torah portions as we present them to you.  For instance, this week’s portion can be found on our website at http://www.therefinersfire.org/parashah_51.htm

This particular lesson is one of the most powerful in the entire Torah as YHWH once again drives home the importance of obedience, outlining the blessings for doing His will, and the curses for not doing His will. We DO/OBEY for the sake of fulfilling His desire! So, here's a question to ponder:

In all the parashahs we've read over the past year, do you remember one instance where YHWH ever said, "After my Son dies, you guys will have free rein to do whatever you want. You will no longer have to bother with my Seventh Day Sabbath rest; you won't have to pay attention to my mo'edim (Feasts/Appointed Times) because in those days you can invent your own; and basically, everything I ever commanded will in those days be considered a curse because I was WRONG to give you guys rules for moral, holy living!"?

No, YHWH never said that; instead, He just kept repeating simple OBEDIENCE! Yes, many of those original commands outlined in Torah were for the priests of the day; some were only for men, some only for women, some only for a certain point in time. But there were some forever commands that still stand today, because "forever" hasn't ended yet.

There is SO MUCH to discover, once you study Scripture from the beginning!  It’s truly life-changing!

  1. Each weekly portion, for me, has been a journey, wherein YHWH himself is the guide [He is far more than a guide..] traveling along the ancient path. What once was thought as old and archaic (old testament), has turned into an archeological discovery that is priceless. For me each portion truly has been, aliyah!!

If your new to TORAH or seasoned and refined; to the newbie...stay in your assigned seat, listen to Your teacher(ruach haskodesh [Set apart Spirit]) and pace your self.
To the veteran believer; keep running the race, for it does not go to the swiftest of but to the one who can endure.

May you always have this vibrating within you:

O God, you are my God; I will seek you eagerly. My heart thirsts for you, my body longs for you in a land parched and exhausted, where no water can be found...psalm 63
